phaco iol complications

I have just got  phaco cataract surgery  and aspheric IOL implant.Curious to know what are usual complications and the outlook especially when halo and glare appears during  night.Is it a serious matter ?

If you had or are having complications your surgeon should tell you.  Halos and glare generally decrase rapidly over the first 3-6 weeks and are usually gone or are eliminated with glasses. The things that should concern you are sudden increase in pain, redness, marked worsening of vision.
