Keratoconus

I am suffering from Keratoconus since last 1.5 years. I was using RGP lens to start with although before that I did visit a lot of Ophthalmologist all of who was unable to detect as the disease been on early stage.
Anyway when it was diagnosed finally, my doc prescribed RGP lens, which I stopped using after 1.5 month. The reason been, my ears turned to be itchy after I remove the lens daily. Even a lot of burning sensation followed by redness of eyes.
On November 2008 I finally went for C3R treatment. It was all going well with decrease in blur vision. But lately say since a week the blur vision has returned. Is it b'cas I have just came back from my vacation and started working, which demands me to be in front of computer more than 8 Hrs a day. Or can it be Computer vision Syndrome. Kindly help.

Thanks & Regards
Ajesh

No thankfully long hours in front of computer will not damage eye or cause degenerative changes. Eye fatigue certainly.

Discuss with your Eye MD to see if your cornea has changed shape.

C3R to use your acronym looks very very promising but it is new and generally considered investigational. However if I k-conus I would probably try it as it is a lot less risky than a full thickness corneal transplant.

Yes C3R is short for cross-linking. God knows where it comes from but I already looked it up. I know there can be some short-term complications with this therapy but thet resolve after some time.

What do you mean by C3R therapy?  Do you mean riboflavin crosslinking therapy?
