smoke in eye

I was using a wood burner to make a shelf and am wondering if the smoke from it has irratated my eyes. My eye is bloodshot and stings and is now waterey. Could I have damaged it with the burner?

Thanks I will try the drops in my eyes. I am going to my eye dr on Thur. I will just wear my glasses until then since my contacts make it worse. i will also remember to get better safety glasses when using wood burner.

Yes, eye irritation is quite common in wood burners. Consider a different heat source and use artificial tears such as Blink or Opteve.
