swollen optical nerves
Hi im nearly 26 and have just been told that i have swollen optical nerves in both eyes and they have made me an oppointment for next week at the eye centre. what could of caused this and what should i expect when i go?? what could this be??
Will they find this out when i go for my eye appointment next week?? and what is the difference in the swellings??

What they are concerned about is increased intracranial pressure and possibly a brain tumor. However, make sure it is true swelling and not pseudo swelling (psuedopapilledema).
