thyroid medication/ laser eye treatment

Please can you tell me if thyroid treatment   ( armour thyroid) would have had any effect on laser surgery.  I had lasik and prk and the targets were not reached . one plus and one minus and an enhansment has been suggested.The sight measurement moved  after treatment and I am now wondering whether the armour had anything to do with it

I would tell my patients no, no effect BUT ask your surgeon and personal MD

Thanks for your quick answer.  No to question about graves disease.  Armour thyroid  is for hypothyroid. So are you saying that this would not have any effect? Thanks

The thyroid would not but if you are taking thyroid because you have Grave's disease and have had radioactive iodine and your eyes are inflammed, dry, and have bulging eyes it could. Ask your surgeon
