Does this sound like arthritis??

I am 28 year old. male. I play on the computer alot.

My pain started when I was sleeping.. I woke up not long after going to sleep (maybe a few hours at the most) and my left arm was hurting REAL bad. I think I was laying on it with my head or maybe my body.. don't remember.

I couldn't get back to sleep. It was aching/stinging/burning so bad and was giving me a terrible stabbing pain. Finally I got back off to sleep as it let up a little after I got in a better position.. not completely gone though.

I woke the next morning with it hurting bad again. I got in an argument with someone close to me and pushed them a few times later that morning. That made things 1000 times worse and my arm hurt so bad I thought it was broken. I couldn't even lift it, the pain was debilitating. That lasted for a few hours of sharp stabbing pain and finally let up some.

* The pain is between my elbow and shoulder and is NOT the bicep or tricep muscle. I worked out in the past and know when a muscle gets sore and what it feels like to touch it and where and how it hurts. This feels like it could be my bone or something else. *

Now every day I suffer with this pain, and the more I use my arm the worse it gets. It has also spread down my arm to the bone that is on the same side of my thumb (i there are two that split and come back together at the bottom of my arm).

The description of pain right now is:
Without use a burning/stinging pain that is excerbated by use and after use includes harsh stabbing pains that are debil.

Bone cancer? Slept on it? Nerve damage? RSI?

There are several considerations, including a bone bruise, tendon or muscle strain, or nerve irritation.

You may consider imaging the bone with plain films to ensure there is no break or lesion.  Any type of inflammation of the shoulder can irritate the nerve, causing discomfort.  Further evaluation of the shoulder can be done via an MRI.

More specialized testing such as a bone scan can be considered to evaluate lesions that cannot be seen on plain film.

If the pain continues, you may want to consider further referrals to an orthopedic surgeon or neurologist.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.

Also I have had standard blood work done due to me feeling kind of oozy. My eyes felt funny the last few weeks and I felt like I was not all there.

That mostly went away now, and I feel a bit better.

Now this with the arm!!

The stinging or burning sensation is the most annoying!!

If you have ever had an IV in your arm and when they move it, it is very tender, burns, and stings alot.. that is kind of what it feels like.

Also, now today my shoulder feels a bit sore.. however it feels unrelated as the pain is not similiar.

I do electronics work and nothing really strenous.

I play on my computer every night and that is why i asked about the RSI, however i am aware of what i move and don't move while on the computer, and where the pain started (between elbow and shoulder joint) doesn't coincide with me typing or moving my hands around.

There are no discolorations on my skin, however the skin does burn or under it burns is what it feels like just sitting here.

As I RUB my arm where it hurts, it feels very tender and stingy.. but this spot is BETWEEN the bicep and tricep main areas. it is where u feel the bone at and is closer to my elbow than my shoulder, but still in the middle of them.

The whole entire arm on that side is stingy and sorelike. Not muscle sore either. Just tender, damaged sore.

My utmost concerns are bone cancer, but since i feel it down my arm now.. I am guessing no, plus it came on all of a sudden, so I am guessing no again.. Am I right? Thanks, sorry to run on.. just wanted to give all I could on a description.

My standard bloodwork came back normal and i was also tested for hiv, hepatitis, sphylis and whatever else.

Nothing.. but this blood work WAS before my arm pain but only by a few weeks. If it was cancer wouldn't there been some blood work bad or something.. thanks
