Another thing that really probably happened is that you probably ovulated when you had your blood test. After you ovulate I believe your E2 drops. Things will work out.......
If you are prepared to go thru IUI or maybe IVF then I would make sure you have your annual mamo up to date. I needed to have one yearly when doing treatment with fertility Dr. (RE)
Since you are asking about Estrogen I think when you have a lower level you may be perimenopause. Here is a link I found about estrogen maybe it can help you understand more. Keep in mind that RE's can help you. You can still have a baby, you just need help.
Hang in there...sending you baby dust.

ps: I have an appointment with an RE on my insurance but not until August 17! Ugh! Any other tests you suggest in the meantime to at least prep for the RE?
She told me that the Estradiol is Estrogen level. I have no clue what a 16 means. Have not had a AMH yet.
I'm hoping the OPK and the LH surge is a good sign. I've been doing a BBT chart but since I am mid cycle I can't see the "whole picture" yet but my temperatures have been low.
FSH 18 is definitely a higher number. :( mine is 10.5 and my RE felt i am on higher side. so sooner you see RE; its better. i dont know anything about estrodiol either. i thought its the name of a shot. whats the estrogen level or did they check your ovarian reserve i mean AMH? at 41; its suggestive sooner you see RE and get evaluated its better.
one positive OPK is still good that you did ovulate;
