Looking for Christmas Cycle Buddies cd2 now...

Hi All cycler's out there! I've just started my second round of clomid (well, to start on sunday) and was hoping to have some cycle buddies out there! When I did this the last time (2yrs ago) with my son, it was great to see all the BFP's and the support for the BFN's.  I'd love to start a group of us who are close to the same cycles to all support and chat through this.
Please join in the conversation with where you are in the cycle, what you're doing and maybe how you're feeling about it.

I'm currently in round two, cd2 taking Clomid 50mg with my family doc (so no monitoring until Jan).  I got pregnant exactly this time two years ago and hoping the distraction of the holidays will help! If it does work, this baby would be due on my youngest son's bday! (exactly!)  Good thing I'm a section mommy and can choose is date to be before then. (at least there's one positive to sections! lol)

My biggest piece of advice is to not give up! We had our first son by complete accident!! (I mean protection, pill and all!)  Then we decided to try again right away, since we already started.  NOTHING! We had then went to our doc and were refered to a fertility group about 6mths later, as well.  It was a lot more testing and a lot on our nerves/emotions but we knew what we wanted and pushed through.  If they say nothing is wrong, that's a good thing! Because with something wrong, your chances are lower.  Both times for me, it took two rounds of clomid (50).  It's all I needed to give my body a double chance of getting pregnant (as I knew I produced two follies each time - 1 lrg, 1 sm).
My best decision both times was to keep myself busy with other activities, as I would get all consumed with this baby-making stuff....  I would still temp and take my pills and track only ONCE a day what my symptoms were.  Outside of that, I would try my hardest to find other things to do to keep my mind busy.  I found that would not only make the tww fly by, but it helps to maintain a normal life! Fertility and TTC can really consume your life!
This cycle has been the weirdest for me, as I've had no typical symptoms... in fact none at all other than the odd cramp and boob soreness.... soooo strange!! I've really got my fingers crossed for a girl, as this is our last as my hubby is getting "too old". (we didn't have a relationship pre-kids, so we want one "post-kids")

Hey there, I am going to be starting my second round of clomid tomorrow....we have been trying for about 4 years with no luck :(

I do not have any children yet. I am really praying and hoping that it works this time for me! I live in canada and healthcare is different here, I couldn't even see a fertility specialist until after we tried on our own for 2 years, it took almost 6 months for an appt, then once all tests had been completed etc was told that everything looked fine and come back in 6 months if still not pregnant....after what feels like an eternity I was finally put on clomid for my first cycle at the beginning of December and AF came last night.

Congrats....Any suggestions mikahsmom?

I can totally relate! We had no trouble with our first (actually was a complete accident). Then when he was 6mths old, we started to try for our second.  Then, four years went by, we saw a fertility specialist and they did all the testing and said there was nothing wrong, so they diagnosed us with "secondary infertility", which really means, we have no idea what your problem is.  They put me on clomid - the first round with an hsg trigger and iui didn't work.  The second (exactly this time two years ago) we did just clomid and on our own.... and sure enough it worked! So as much as I'm hoping to not have two kids share the same bday, I'm very hopeful this is the cycle it will work.
I too am hoping the holidays keep me distracted.   How are you feeling so far?

Well this is my 3rd cycle of clomid @ 150mg on cd 9 even thou it is fun tryin but sometimes it take its toll when the end results is not wat u want been TTC for about 2 years or more. So if this round doesn't work then we would hav to sit down and look at our options. But since all this is around my bday and the holidays it keeps me a lil distracted and happy.
