Weird...Has this happened to you?

To give you some background, my husband and I have been TTC for almost 2 years. We've tried several diffferent approaches, clomid, OPKS, you name it. Well recently, we've tried the relaxed approach since the holidays are coming (really here now). We have decided that if we're not pregnant by the end of the year, we'll go back to the fertility specialist and look at are options. Well, earlier last week, I randomly had spotting. It was brownish/dark red blood and it lasted for just a day. What could that be??? I have tried not to keep up with when I'm ovulating but do know it was last week. Could that be the reason? Have any of you ladies experienced random spotting in between your cycles? Thank you ladies for your help and Happy Thanksgiving.

Thank you ladies. I hope so, too. It's been a long time and really looking forward to seeing a BFP!!!! However, I'm trying not to get my hopes up.

I am pretty sure some women actually spot a little bit during ovulation when the egg is being released. Hopefully you go it and get your positive soon.
