Does Clomid extend your cycle??

Hello everyone ....

I am on my first month of clomid and today is my 28th day of my cycle. I have not received my period yet and I was told with my progesterone levels that I for sure ovulated. Has clomid made anyone elses cycle longer? If so, by how much longer??

I am not trying to get anxious but it is so hard not to. Just looking for support!

Thank You!!

Thanks ladies for the responses =) They are much appreciated...

I guess I got my answer this morning when I started my period. Bleh .. Clomid seemed to just make me regular, 28 day cycle. Looks like round 2 of clomid for me! I hope this month is the month.

Lots of baby dust to you both!!! = )))))!!!!

Hello,

I took Clomid for the first time with my 2nd IUI and it caused my af to not show up. I ovulated but unfortunately, it didn't work. I took several HPT's and they were all negative. Prior to Clomid, my cycle was always 27 or 28 days. I had a beta test when I was a week late and it was also negative.

My doctor has now put me on some medicine to start my cycle again. I have to take it for 10 days and then my af should arrive shortly after stopping the pills. Then on day 3 I will start Clomid again.

I hope this helps. I also hope that you get your BFP!!! Good Luck!!! :0)
