0% morphology, RE doesn't seem concerned!?

Hi everyone,
So I'm on to IUI #4.(did the ivf with icsi already..long story..bfn) with iui#1 I was told my DH had 0% morphology, his count has gotten so much better now then the first time. 2 mil to 55 mil. He's taking great care of himself. We haven't had a SA since. I was told his sperm has pointy heads. I spoke to my Re last week about I'd and she kind of says his sperm has gotten better!? I'm so confused. 0% seems like bfn.
Anyone get BFP with 0% morphology?

November my DH quit drinking, he wears new underwear, takes vitamins and exercises. Side then he went from 2 mil iui#1  to 55mil iui#3 my RE doesn't seem to be concerned. I just had my hsg this month and she told me that my tubes are opened and DH's count has improved, I asked her if I should do ivf again and told me the odds are the same but iui with injectables are cheaper. I am not sure if the initial SA was visual or not, but with iui it's visual so I'm hoping they would notice. I have all the iui sperm analysis copies. They have everything but morphology.

We seemed to have a morphology issue as well with my IUI's but his was 3% & 4% normal. However, on my last IVF, the sperm were fine. I think it could have to do with stress because my DH is always very stressed. Also, RE said no hot tubs or sitting with laptop computers on the lap - that can sometimes cause sperm issues. I think vitamins and eating right can help as well.I am surprised that your dr is not concerned with a 0% morphology. I think my RE was saying they like to see at least 10% to 15% normal for IUI. I would re-visit that with your RE.

Hi there,

I don't know about the 0% morphology. Did you have them check the sample at a clinic where thy actually look at the sample, or was it done by computer/machine. We had issues with the first sample done by computer/machine (however they do it). The second one didn't even compare...
I have a follow up question on your DH. He's been taking great care of himself, how? We have issues with my DH's sperm, but were told that there is really nothing that we can do to improve count, morphology etc. Is your DH doing anything special? I really want to give mine something positive... Thanks!
