1000 mg Vit. C for little swimmers?

Anyone put their DH or DF ect. on 1000 mg/day Vitamin C to improve thier little swimmers? I read an article on WebMD about infertility and it was saying that 1000mg improved the little swimmers by 140% in just a week....It would me cheaper than buyin oodles of fertility blend or whatever else...
Let me know!!!

Well I shall go down to the drugstore then! Thanks ladies!!
I just received my CBE fertility monitor today - I wish I was closer to CD1 than I am so I can use it lol!!
I need to call my RE's office and get a new RX for my prenatal vitamins. Also need to get an RX for clomid...Hmmm, think he'll do an IUI for free since I've had so many done lol??? One could only hope....

Also Vit C helps you not get so sick. So it is good to take 1000 mg anyways. My husband takes it so he don't get sick as easy. I take a prenatal vit and 1000 mg of C too.

Yup, my dh takes 1000 mg of vitamin C along with his daily multivitamin.. the research shows it can do great things for the swimmers!  also i've seen that it can help females too with fertility.. so i typically take 500mg in addition to my multivitamin.. the great thing about vitamin C is that if you take too much you just pee it out! : ) GOOD LUCK!

Well right now here's my regimin:

Morning:
B6
Baby Aspirin
Vitamin E

Night:
B Complex
B12
Folic Acid
Vitamin C
Vitamin E

This will also be my 4th month on clomid.  I hear clomid works better sometimes when you take extra vitamin C.

I went to my cd3 appointment today, and so far everything looks good to start another treatment month, just waiting to hear the bloodwork to confirm everything is within normal limits because I did have 1 small leftover cyst from last month (9 mm.)  See, lastmonth  I did a clomid+follistim combo cycle and over-responded so my IUI last month got cancelled due to over-response.

So this month, I think the plan is going to be the same, except lower doses of follistim...  I am hoping/trying for about 4 good follies.  The nurse turned up her nose to me today and insisting that I realize how serious multiples can be.  I am just getting so impatient and I know I am getting on their nerves.  LOL

Yes!  My hubby takes a multivitamin, plus additional C (500mg) and E (400mg) and Zinc (50mg.)  Those are the fertility vitamins that i read help the swimmers.

He's been on a multi for a while now, but we just added the extras about a month ago.

Hoping it works any day now..........LOL
