Femara is like clomid right? I don't think we want to try that right now. Because I would have to have my cycles closely monitored each month and right now I can't make those trips to my doctor. We really just want to try on our own. You know?
maybe you should try femara.. it doesn't try up Cm at all , in fact i had even better Cm whie on it! plus insurance pays for it typically too! GOOD LUCK!
Yea my dr did do some monitoring back when I was first diagnosed and started ttc again. After the failed rounds of clomid we kinda strayed away for awhile. My dh didnt like me being on the clomid cause my cm dried up. And I changed jobs so I couldn't make the appointments at the time.
Sorry to hear about your struggles!!! who knew this whole ttc thing would be such a stressful and challening thing in our lives! ( i remember coming off the pill so excited each month, until it was a year down the road and nothing!) Anyhow.. i only have one functional ovary (the other one -we found a large endometrioma that had destroyed it.. it was removed and now doesn't function : ( we have SO many issues.. severe endo, mild pcos.. LUFS, and male factor! phew! so we have been told pretty much IVF with ICSI was the only way.. well thank goodness i have a great RE.. he has been great about monitoring me and being aggressive.. he does pre-O ultrasounds..and ultrasounds after O to make sure the follicle ruptured
we were shocked to get a BFP with our third and final IUI (moving to IVF the month afterthat!) we used femara and injectables.(unfortunately miscarriedat 9.5weks).. I have read a TON of stories of people that get BFP's with only one ovary.. has your dr been monitoring you? your one ovary should take over ovulation each month.. You could also switch to a different oral med like femara which wont' thin your uterine lining or strip your cervical mucus like clomid can do! GOOD LUCK! I hope your BFP is around the corner!
