AGP - The Sisterhood of the Travelling Eggs
Happy Hump Day!!!

Me-Yesterday was a bad day. I started having a pain in my lower tight side late Wednesday night, which just grew to a really bad constant knife in my side. I called out of work (yet another guilt trip from the owners) to go to an emergency u/s ordered by our dr. They couldn't see anything definite except that my ovary is under my uterus and is getting a bit crunched, but the blood flow is still good and healthy. They feared appendicitis and I am to keep an eye on my temp which is slightly elevated. Ugh this was not a good Thursday.
The baby however is doing great, which made me sigh many sighs of relief. The heartbeat is at 170 and he/she was resting when we first looked with tiny little hands over it's face. When it noticed that we were looking he/she started moving all over and then turned it's back to us. Little shy raver we have here. I will scan the u/s pic at some point. It is a back view with arms waving about. But at least we know that the baby has all the limbs needed. We even saw the umbilical card, the baby was kicking at it which made us all laugh.
Well I have to figure out if I am quitting my job. The more I think about the more I hate selling cigarettes. Being a merchant of death was never in the books for me. Seeing I am going to school for human services and art therapy, I am more of a helper than an enabler.....

Wanting - I am taking Estradiol tablets vaginally and also wearing estrtrogen patches, have been for quite some time now, but I didn't expierience the cramping and back ache until AFTER my transfer. So you could still very well be preggo!!

I'm an idiot - I just looked up side effects to the Estradiol patch (that I am using for the FIRST time) and it said "Breast tenderness or swelling; stomach cramps"....guess that explains it all! I need to stop reading into this stuff!!!!

Alaskacouple -- I'm new around these parts, so I don't really know your story, but my brother was in the military (shot in the coupe (spelling?) against Noreiga in Panama) so my heart goes out to all military personnel and their families and friends! As a matter of irony, I was behind a police car last night and said a prayer for all servicemen and women! I will say another one this morning for you and your friends!
Well, it's official, I am a basketcase! I started cramping last night and so bad this morning that it woke me up! I looked back on FF and saw that I have noted cramps before, but since I didn't write if they were mild, bad, or severe -- I really still have no idea if they were like they are now. But it also grounded me a bit to remember that I have had 'symptoms' before and they don't mean squat!!
So here's what's going on - slightly tender bbs on the side (more kinda burning that tender to the touch), severe cramps, lower backache, constipation, oh, and for the TMI component -- sex dreams last night that actually brought me close to real orgasm! I've heard that can happen from increased hormones!
Oh, if only those results would come in!! C'mon Progesterone - be above 25!!!
I'll take any prayers or leftover BabyDust that anyone is willing to throw my way. I was so good and doused when I first joined, but DH INSISTED that I take a shower despite my protest of concerns that I would wash it off!! :)
Sorry for the long rambling -- but you don't know how much you save my marriage by offering me another outlet to ramble to! DH gets very concerned if I start getting my hopes up too early - he doesn't want me to get let down! So, I try not to let him know how much I am obsessing!!

Hey all.... sorry I have been MIA (no pun intended).... but we just found out a very good friend of ours has been reactivated from reserves and will be heading to Afganistan after training in Sept. He has to report to GA for 25 days of training and then from there he goes overseas....
Needless to say it has been rather depressing up here....
