Question about cervical position

Maby someone can help me out with this question......... I have been checking my cervical position often because Iam trying to concieve. So the other day I noticed that it is semi-high in position (so I can still reach it) I can feel the opening and it is low and off to the right side of my vaginal wall. I have noticed this often in my self check ups. My cervix does move up and down throughout my cycle or when sexually aroused. But it always seems to be positioned with the opening to the right and low. Anyone have any guesses as to why this might be????? I have been to several doctors and all of them agreed that I dont have a tilted or retroverted uterus. Educated guesses would be appreciated. = ) Thanks.

Most physicians will prescribe clomid or birth control pills to help regulate cycles.  If you're anxious to get started again, the physician will probably want to test to see if your hCG levels have dropped, then prescribe an appropriate "regulator."  I hope you're next pregnancy is successful and full-term!

Hey thanks for the response. = ) I was actually just pregnant but it ended in a blighted ovum and had to get a d&c. Im anxious to try again but cant figure out when Im going to det my next period!! Everything is out of whack. = ( Iv been trying to chart my temps and observe my cervical position and what not. But my temps seem to be all over the place and my cervix is high and low throughout the day. Im confused. Should I take a months worth of birth control just to get my cycle back even if im ttc? Or just wait it out?

I would have your obgyn observe during your next pap smear that the cervix opening is looking healthy, in addition to the normal procedure.  It may just be the way the cervix developed.  Regardless, if you notice a high open cervix and quality CM, you should be able to conceive just fine even if the opening is off center.  The CM will lead the boys to where they need to go!  Good luck TTC!
