Anyone ttc on here with endometriosis?

New to the site and trying to understand what may be happening with me. I was diagnosed with Endo. 7 yrs ago and after 4 yrs of ttc i got preg with my son. I was referred to a specialist finally at that time only to find out i was 7 wks preg.

I have been trying for a year again and had a mc at 6 wks.

Now, after trying another 6 months am on clomid 100mg/day. I am wondering if anyone has similar situation? Dr says may be endo but may be something else too. Any thoughts? Im being referred to specialist at next dr appt in a month if nothing happens and not sure what to expect first.

They check the Antral Follicle Count to see how many my ovaries are producing that month which one or more can rupture to release an egg.  It gives us a better indication of fertility and if my ovaries are responding to clomid or not.  Plus they want to be sure I didn't develop a cyst the prior month on clomid which could interfere with ovulation this month.

Here is a website about the ovacue:  http://www.zetek.net/value_options.htm#rent

The ovacue is a bit expensive but if you add up the cost of how much you spend on OPK's each month it is a better option.  I thought about the clear blue easy fertility monitors but even those require test strips.  The clear blues run around $160 and you buy the strips so it adds up.  The ovacue with the additional equipment (vaginal monitor) which is supposed to tell you that you did in fact ovulate runs about $319.  The sensor tracks electrolites in your salava

The OvaCue tracks your hormonal changes and maintains a record for four months running. You can review your readings or add new readings with a simple touch of a button. You can also download the information to a Windows computer and use the OvaGraph software to track your cycles over your entire fertile lifetime.

If you want to confirm the time of your ovulation every month and mark the end of your fertile window, you will want to use the optional vaginal sensor.

I like the option of renting to own one.

Rent to own
Renting a monitor is a risk-free way to try the OvaCue Classic or Cue II Fertility Monitors and allows the flexibility to make payments over a short period of time. Should you rent and later decide to purchase the monitor, all rent paid will be applied towards the purchase price.

The ferning monitor sounds about as helpful as the test strips :)
How much do those ovacues run? I am thinking maybe that is a better idea. I saw some different things on the internet but didn't know how they really worked so let me know if you like it (if you get one).
Why do they check the follicles? What does this tell them?

I found that to be true about the OPK's.  I've been looking into investing into one of the Ovacues which doesn't require any sticks or urine.  I tried the ferning monitor and I can't see the difference when it talks about ferning and not ferning lol.

I have my u/s appointment for tomorrow to see how many follicles we have and if I can start the clomid or not.

I am using the OPKs and have been for a year now. I have switched though because there were a few months where they were really confusing like I thought I had a + and it would stay that way for 4 days and then get - so I would keep testing and about a week later i would get 4 more +. Now I am using the digital though and will see if that makes any difference.
Did  the clomid make

The doctor that I'm seeing now agrees that IUI and IVF will not work for me.  The only reason he says this is because in the past 1 1/2 I've been pregnant 3 times each have been about every 6 months but I'm not able to carry.  Even if they were to do IVF and I do get pregnant we haven't found out the exact reason that I keep miscarrying them and he feels I would miscarry so he doesn't want us to waste our money on IVF yet.

I've had every test out there including additional blood clotting disorders besides the normal ones that they test for.  I've came up negative for it.  Hubby even had the SCSA (DNA fragmentation sperm test) and all came up great.  Right now we are doing the clomid and progesterone after ovulation.  I go in this Friday for u/s to count the follicles and to be sure there are no cyst that developed with the use of clomid.

Trying--  Are you using the OPK's to determine when you are ovulating?   I was finally glad that we were referred to a reproductive endoconologist.  I was disappointed when after all the test it still comes up as unexplained infertility.

Is there a reason you would not go straight to IVF?  Did you say you were tested for clotting & everything else correct?  I hope the clomid works for you.

That is so hard. I don't know how I would get through 8 mc. 1 was hard enough. My cycles are also very regular now so I am not sure if this is why I am having trouble or not. I hope we both have luck with clomid, i really don't want to go to a specialist

I've been diagnosed with Endometriosis.  The first surgery it was severe and the second to remove adhesions was mild.  We've been ttc over 14 years and have fallen pregnant 8 times but none that resulted in a live birth.  I would always m/c around 6-9 weeks each time.   My RE doesn't think the endo has anything to do with mine because my cycles are very normal now he just believes it is just age now.   We did our first cycle of clomid last month 100mg/day but did not get pregnant.  I'm thinking ours was due to timing last month.
