clomid third round

Tomorrow I am going to have an u/s to see if the clomid worked so far it has don't nothing the first time I was taking 100mg then 150mg now 200mg but because I do not get a cycle and the dr didn't jumpstart it I take the meds for 5 hays then go in for an u/s sometimes I feel like an experiment or guine pig. I nevere heard of this way of using clomid if anyone has any insight it would be appriciated wish me luck.

I was just wondering how much does that med cost see my insurance doesn't cover fertility med I and I am by far not rich I am not sure of all the options

I tried clomid for 4 cycles with no luck.  I then went on letrozole (femera) and it worked.  Day 13 of my cycle I have an egg measuring 17.5mm. Two days later I had a +OPK.  Had IUI on day 16. I am now in my 2ww.
I agree with the other ladies....after 4 rounds of clomid and no success, it is time to move on to the next step.

I just wanted to let you know that I too was on 200mg. It worked for me but I still didn't get my BFP. I stopped at 4 rounds and am doing more testing now. I hope this is the ticket for you! 200mg is supposed to be the MAX dose, I haven't heard of anything more than that. I think what they are doing is called a clomid challenge. I haven't done that yet but will next month. They go in to check your follicles on CD 2 or 3 then give you 5 days of meds and then go back and check your follicles to see if the meds worked.

Hi..just pray and ask God to give you a baby..there is nothing man or medicine can do for us. God does work through mysterious ways. You can just pray to HIM... He is our Father in Heaven and designed our bodies in HIS image.. I am also having a hard time but I have asked God for a baby...remember its on HIS time too not ours!!! yes at itmes I get impatient myself.... I just had surgery and now am about to take clomid but if this does not work than I will just have to wait on my Father in Heaven!!!  I know its hard but God will see you through! just have faith!

I was told three days ago the I was about to ovulate and he wanted to check to day to find out when exactly well today I found out that it didn't work me ovary that was about to ovulate regressed now I have to decide whether to give up because I can afford injections or try 250 mg of clomid I hope that is enough to do it I am scared of the out come I don't know what to do I need advise or maybe some incouragement

hi there! how many cycles of clomid have you been on? my RE says that if it does not work for you in 4 cycles..the chances are reduced further...also, it is not advisable to take clomid for more than 6 consecutive cycles. my last RE put me on 100 mg clomid with no monitoring whatsoever and it was doing me more harm than good (I was producing more eggs but it was thinning my uterine lining!) ..I actually looked for a new Dr and am more comfortable with the treatments now..

i have never heard of 200mg dose of clomid, if you are not responding to the clomid ask the doctor to see if you can do a injectable course, or maybe change doctors
