Assisted Hatching & Short plan with no BCP
Has anyone had a short cycle for IVF with no BCP? And has anyone had the assisted hatching with IVF? Is it safe?
We had assisted hatching for our second round of IVF and I believe it is what did the trick. We are due to have our son any day now....

The assisted hatching procedure involves thinning or making a small hole in the zona pellucida that surrounds the embryo (a protective layer). There some evidence that assisted hatching may improve implantation rate. Basically they make a hole in the embryo shell...helping it hatch out during implantation.
