BBT chart, what does it mean? Can anyone help me read?

Hi guys. This is my first month charting my temperature. I have long cycles (usually between 33 and 39 days). Today is cycle day 14 and I decided to start charting on day 4. I have no clue what I'm doing, I just printed out a chart and have X'd my temperature that I take with a basal body temp thermometer -- I take my temp every day at 7:15 a.m. when I wake up. I thought my chart should be pretty level, then go up at some point. I'm kind of confused. Can anyone look at my temps so far and tell me if it looks normal or weird? Thanks!!! I'm so new at this BBT stuff.

CD 4: 97.29
CD 5: 97.32
CD 6: 97.24
CD 7: 97.23
CD 8: 97.18
CD 9: 97.29
CD10: 97.21
CD11: 97.44
CD 12: 97.25
CD 13: 97.05

see the last three days I'm dropping a bit. is this how things are supposed to go? Hmmmmmmm.

Thanks sooo much! Baby dust .

The temps usually drop when the estrogen levels in the body rise. So during ovulation they drop. Use the O tracker in this website and you can also choose the FAM method to point O on your chart.

All the best.

It looks pretty normal for pre-o temps to me. Have you tried out the tracker one here? If you put your temps on the tracker, it will be easier for other members to read once o has occured. If you need any help let me know :)

Some women get a drop before O, and since you're on CD14 today, it could very well be that. Other than that, your temps seem totally normal for the first part of your cycle. It's not uncommon to have your temps vary a bit from day to day...once you ovulate you should still be able to see a very clear rise. Best of luck this month!
