Has your BF been tested to make sure he has a good semen count (or semen at all?) That was our particular issue...It's a simple test and far less invasive than anything you'll have to do if you end up getting some tests yourself. But I concur with the comments above, too...it can take a while, longer than you think. I used OPKs to predict fertility since I discovered I was off a day or so when I was doing it myself (until I found out we could not conceive naturally, that is.) Good luck!
Hello,
For conception, try having intercourse every month around your ovulation days as it is the best time for conceiving. Ovulation is the release of a single, mature egg from a follicle that developed in the ovary. It usually occurs regularly, around day 14 of a 28-day menstrual cycle. The best timing of intercourse in order to conceive is day 10, 12, 14 and 16 (in case of late ovulation) of a 28 day cycle. After intercourse, do not wash immediately and keep on lying for some time. You can also keep a pillow under your buttocks.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
Are you having intercourse around your fertile time? This is what you need to be doing. Do you know how long your cycles usually are? If you know how long your cycles usually are then you can track them and try figure out when you ovulate. You need to be having intercourse every other day leading up till when you ovulate and then for a couple of days after. You can track ovulation with such things as OPKs (ovulation predictor kits), BBT (basil body temperature), cervical mucous and cervical position.
It can take a normal healthy couple AT LEAST a year to conceive naturally so it doesn't just always happen right away.
