TTC at the age of 31

Is there anyone that still has not gotten pregnant after trying for years? I'm 31 and I've only been married close to a year but I have tried to get pregnant before. I wasn't taking any birthcontrol and I was using anything that would prevent me from being pregnant. I never really worried about it before because I wasn't married and didn't want to be a single parent. My curiousity has grown since my marriage and looking at the fact that I'm getting older. I just want to know is that normal or what?

I went to the doctor late early March and she advised me to start timing my ovualtion and I have. She also did an ultrasound to see if there were any cyst and fibroids. Nothing. She also did a few test to check my egg count and that was normal. Before I went to the doctor I took one of those at home fertility test and I passed. I have an appointment to go back to her in October, so if I'm not expecting by then, I guess I will have to have her to give me other options. Its probably just me, I'm probably just too anxious but I'm really looking to concieve before my clock stops ticking. Thank you ladies for the advice. :)

i didnt use BC the last 2 yrs with my X and now i been with my husband for 5 yrs with none and im still not PG!! I been trying for reals for 3 yrs but still no protection and nothing! It can take 6 months to 2 yrs to get PG but if you have any doubts go ahead and talk to your doctor! its better to find now if anything is wrong! Are your cycles normal? Have you done any charting?

i don't know how long u've been trying to get pregnant, but the dr's usually say if after 1 year of actively trying to get pregnant and u still have not, then u should go and see a fertility specialist. try buying one of those over the counter ovulation kits and c if that works for u. if not and u've been trying for a year or more than my suggestion is go to a specialist. hope this helps...good luck
