yes I have heard of that.. Make sure that when yo are doing it you ar ovulating or do it a couple of days before you ovulate.. it should work.
Yes it is possible. I worked in a birth to three program and met a family who did just this! They had a beautiful baby girl!
I know it can be done. My husband's cousin is also a lesbian and wanted a child so they picked out a willing donor and inserted the sperm with a syringe like thing and she had a healthy baby at the end of it. She is a nurse though so I guess she would have known how to do it properly. Good luck with it!!
If I were you, I would go through a clinic , get donor sperm and then get an IUI done...not sure how insurance covers it...but I wouldn't experiment with myself...if you already have someone, you can do it in the clinic - docs know what they are doing...and they can inprenen you, like mommyin09 said.
I'm sure it is possible. Just please be extra careful. I've heard it's not as safe because the semen won't be in a sterile environment going from your donor to the syringe. Maybe if you have a willing donor, you can contact an RE & do it through iui? I'm not sure if that's even an option, but it's worth looking into. I can definitely understand your frustration & I wish you my best!!! Good luck :)
I have read on other forums about women doing that. So it is posible.
