Good evening, ladies!  I have an update from Luvkayln.  She's in the hospital & as of 1 hour and 15 minutes ago, she was 2 cm dilated, 50 % effaced.  Her doctor expects Addy's birth by 6 a.m.!  She was on her way to the hospital & will spend the night there so she will definitely be there for Addy's birth! =)  She'll be checked again in an hour.  I'll update with any new information!

Okay! As of now, she's 3 cm dilated, 75% effaced. She's about to get her epidural & the doc will break her water. Addy's coming soon!!!! :)

Luvkayln: I hope by now you have already met your little one!! and are both healthy!!

so I have a question...I've got three +opk so far! ...maybe is me interpretating that thing wrong, but I don't know....could it be because I might have Oed from both sides??...I mean I had O type of pain on my right side Friday and Saturday and yesterday I had pain on my Left side!! just in case I will keep up the Bding! ;o)

Did you guys work on the nursery more? DH had drill this weekend so he couldn't work on it but we need to still get the moulding and doors up. I'm thinking this weekend DS will move up there which will be nice since we'll both be home  :-) I also wanted to let you know, I don't have an u/s at my next appt. Just a regular OB appt. and I should get my scan results then ;-)

Keyan: How are doing? Your post made me laugh a bit too about the bases lol ;-) How was your not so busy weekend?!

Doing well here! Little Peyton is getting the hiccups all the time now just like DS did. Even when DS was born, about 3hrs later he got the hiccups lol! She's still moving a ton, but more like she's shifting sides rather than doing complete summer saults.I'm going to try to take a video of it lol.
I'm working on my family tree (more) and trying to get what I can done - we are giving it to my Grandma for Christmas :-) It's just a lot of work... Well, I hope everyone had a great weekend!!

mommyin10-  Thanks for keeping us updated on luvkayln!  I am praying they are both together and happy and healthy.  I'll be checking in for more updates as I feel up to it.

Keyan-Thanks for the note.  As for the OPK's...  I always seemed to get positives for a couple days too.  It was always hard for me to tell if the pink line was "as Pink or pinker than" the test window.  I hate those dumb things.  

So I spent the weekend laying around mostly.  Put a little laundry away, cleaned out the fridge for garbage night...just tried to come back to work and feel 100%.  FAT CHANCE!  Sunday night I started feeling sick again and sure enough I was in the bathroom by 3 am throwing up.  What ever "bug" I've got is sticking around.  On top of that DH has such a bad cold he only got an hours worth of sleep and had to be at work.  He's been sleeping on the couch so I don't get that too.  Poor guy.  We are down right miserable in our house right now.  :(

mommy- i am so happy for luvkayln, she must be in a world of her own.  She is smaller than what they thought she was going to.  it was the same with jaedyn.  he was 6.13 2 weeks early and they swore he was huge.

Thanks Mommyin10 for keeping us posted on Luvkayln. I can't wait to hear that she had her and that they both are doing good. I won't be able to check in much today....I have to take my dad to the doctor.....so I guess I'll check in tonight when I get home.

Keyan: I'm not sure why you'd get multiple +opk's, other than you could be catching the beginning, actual +lh surge, and tail end? My smiley faces would come for 2 days usually & I always went with the first one. It may be confusing w/out the smiley, so keep bd'ing til your chart confirms O. I'll check out your chart next :)

dnikki: I'll tell her :) dh got the window moulding up (framed the windows & made window sills) & will work on the crown this week :) What did you decide for Peyton's middle name? Good luck w/your family tree. It's a lot of work, but fun to do :) I'm sure grandma

Dh's dad is doing so much better already! He's moved out of ICU & will only stay in the hospital for a couple weeks :) Dh will fly up to visit probably this weekend. Our anniversary is Thursday (12 years!) and I'll also turn 6 months that day :) The babies are moving so much now, but I can't tell if it's just our little boy or if she's encroached into his side?? I mostly feel & SEE movement on my right side. At my u/s on Wed, I'll get a better idea where they are :)

Luvkayln is doing great & is so happy, as we can all imagine :) Her labor was only 8 hours & she expects to go home Wednesday with her beautiful Addy! She said she looks just like Kayln, but with blonde hair :-) I'll let her know everyone's congratulated her & she's got lots of messages to come home to!

I just read the rest of the last thread and I wanted to respond about baby boy names.  I am having a very hard time with it.  There was only one boy name that I really liked and that is Kyle, which is my son's name.  My husband does not like a lot of the names I wrote down as ideas.  I am not crazy about any of the names though.  If it were a girl, it would have been easy.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

As for me...not much going here lately just getting ready to do some more shopping for the holidays today with the hubby. Since there are no children in our family that we are close to, shopping just seems to get harder and harder.

I appriciate all of you feedback with my sister in law. I just don't need people like that. If she wants to be the first one to give a grandchild than more power to her. Its not a competition. Im not in this to try and beat someone else out. Its about ME and DH not her.

I couldn't be happier for luvkayln.  I am literally jumping up and down right now in my chair at work.   I can't wait to see photos!

DH and I have decided to wait until one month after my unemployment to go back to TTC.  We want to make sure we're doing okay financially first (with my lay off and our salary cut).   But then we'll be back on the TTC wagon!  I am excited.  That means we'll start trying in February.

Sooooo, I'm the next one on the list to deliver!!! Holy Cow does time fly!!!! I think the first week in Jan will be when I start leave so I can get everything ready. I had DS at 37wks so I want to be ready!!

Mommyin10: The little boy may be on the right and the girl may be on the left side but with her legs and arms over by the boy? Does that make sense? I'm glad DS's dad is doing better - what a relief!!! I have the tree basically done as far as I can go before I do more research again...Every winter I get a 3month membership to ancestry *******. So I'm just trying to get all the dates and anniversaries and cousins and stuff like that in there - my family is huge lol!!

Dnikki: Yes, you're next in line! :) See, you delivered ds at 37 weeks... My sister delivered each of her four kids at 36 weeks & here I was thinking I had til mid or tge end of March. I'll be 36 weeks March 4, so I'm planning to ask my doc on Wed. Yrs, that makes perfect sense! :) That's really what dh & I were thinking. I can't wait for our u/s on Wed! It'll be fun to see where they are ;) I got hooked on ancestry.com trying to get dh's family figured out (my mom has our side done extensively !) dh's family came mostly from Yugoslavia & lived in a city here in California where Slavs were predominant, so some things are hard to trace 'cause names changed or were American-ized, etc. It is fun, though! Like a big puzzle :)

My appointment did not go well.  The doctor said that from my last u/s to this one my cervix shortened half an inch.  It went from .56 to .32.  He thinks it is due to severe dehydration.  At all times I am to have a tub of water in front of me.  His goal is to get me to 32-34 weeks so she is healthy.  I'm scared.  What if she comes too early.  32 weeks is his goal yet that is 8 weeks early.  I don't know what to think right now.  I am a little overwhelmed.  I didn't expect it to be that bad in 4 short weeks.  My next appointment is Jan 4th and then I start going every 2 weeks.  They gave me paperwork to fill out for my preadmin to the hospital for delivery and next time is that glucose test.  Sounds fun!  If I can't slow down the shortening I may spend the final 8 weeks of my pregnancy in the hospital.  Can you imagine?  8 weeks in a hospital just to have a baby that you can't take home b/c she is too little?  I feel like crying.  I'm sure this isn't as big a deal as I think it is but my doctor never says anything b/c he says it's his job to do the worrying but this time...he spilled it all.  Even that makes me nervous.  I know I haven't enjoyed being pregnant.  I feel really guilty about that but I don't want to lose her and I don't want her to not be healthy b/c she is too little.  I'm going to go lay down now.

sbumblebeeo: I know that's scary for you but if he thinks it's from dehydration then that is a pretty easy fix. If you can't seem to drink much more, I would call the office for another appt. and see if he can admit you to the hospital just for a day or two to get IV fluids going through you. Did he say anything about bedrest? I know 32wks is 8wks early, but after 28wks, the survival rate is very good. Yes she will probably need some assistance but it's nothing the medical world can't handle. And since they are aware of the problem already, they will be able to give you steroid shots to get her lungs developed. You know we're here if you need us... ((HUGS)) and TAKE IT EASY!!!
