Calling All Women of Strength!!!

A Strong Woman VS. A Woman Of Strength

A strong woman works out every day to keep her body in shape…
But a woman of strength builds relationships to keep her soul in shape.

A strong woman isn't afraid of anything…
But a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of fear.

A strong woman won't let anyone get the better of her…
But a woman of strength gives the best of herself to everyone.

A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future…
A woman of strength realizes life's mistakes can also be unexpected blessings and capitalizes on them.

A strong woman wears a look of confidence on her face…
But a woman of strength wears grace.

A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey…
But a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will become strong.

HOLY ****!!!  Just thought I'd pop in and see if anyone is PG and how you're all doing, WOW, did not expect to see so many BFP's and am feeling so happy for you all.  DH and I are as happy as ever, we're expanding our real estate biz & peds cancercare is so amazing.  Being surrounded by kids has a way of making one so grateful for every experience with them.  Have given up TTC and surprisingly, we're just as happy as we were before if not even more so now that I'm not a bloated drugged woman.  I'm actually starting to feel like ME again.  Gawd, Leighanne'
s baby is too cute, I don't have time right now, but I'll check for updates and pics as soon as I can.  All the best!!!!

Hard day yesterday... my cramping has pretty much stopped. But, my beta was not that great. It went from 48 to 88. : ( My progesterone went up (27 to 29). I don't understand that. I figure my P4 number would go down if I am losing this pregnancy. I am getting it checked again Tuesday AM, then a decision will be made. I am devastated.

Thinking of you all!!!

Hey everyone.  I'm 11dpo and I had a small temp drop this morning.  I'm hoping my temps go back up.  The lower back pain is still there, though not nearly as bad.  On top of that, this weekend I had heartburn like no one's business.  I tried tums, pepto, nothing worked.  The only that helped at all was milk.  So I ended up drinking over a gallon of milk by myself this weekend.  I started having some nausea yesterday (afternoon). I have a little today too. Nothing serious.  Just a few more days until I test. I'm hoping that all these signs are from p/g not af.  Please, AF stay away!  lol

keyan- I am planning on testing on Thursday, although I may cave and test on Wednesday.  13dpo isn't a bad day to test lol.  We'll just see.

mommyin10- My fingers are crossed for your transfer today!  I'm so excited for you!!!

rachjas- I'm praying for you sweetie.  Your numbers are still going up at least!  Keep a positive attitude!  I'll be praying!

dnikki- Hey girl.  I hope that your nausea is doing better.   I am so happy for you. I am going to bet now that it's a girl. I have a feeling.

luvkayln- Hey girl.  Thanks for all the positive support.  You are a gem.  Can you and Stacey do a belly rub for me?  I hope this is it!

Good morning!  I haven't had any updates this weekend, but I also wasn't expecting them & I'm hoping that means all's well! ;)  I'll call the office this afternoon to find out what time our transfer is tomorrow & I'll let you know!  I'm trying to keep myself grounded and remember that I still have issues, such as my thin lining & funky uterus, just so that I don't get my hopes us, but all in all, I'm excited & hopeful =)  Maybe the proper placement of the blast will be just what I need ;)

rachjas:  I'm so sorry you're feeling so down ;(  I agree, though, that your numbers are continuing to rise, just not as high as you'd like to see & your progesterone looks great!  You'll have continued prayers & support from us all for a big boost in your beta tomorrow!  Hang in there ;)

scripps:  Best wishes for your retrieval today!!! =)  Rest, rest rest!

mrspace:  Don't count yourself out til AF shows!  Yeah, there's nothing premature about testing at 13dop.  I could never get past 9dpo! =)  My transfer isn't til tomorrow, but thank you!

babynr:  It's great to hear from you & to hear that you're doing so well! =)

Keyan:  I'm glad you had a Happy B-day & fun at the beach! =)  What are your plans today?  I'll update as soon as I get some news.

Rachjas- I'm so sorry your numbers didn't rise as much as you would've liked them too, but like the other ladies said, it still rose and it seriously almost doubled! Your progesterone sounds great, and it's good that it rose too! :) I know you're very upset, but I really have faith that everything will be ok! When I had my first beta, I asked them if we're looking for the numbers to double for our second one, and the nurse said no, just looking for them to rise! I'll keep everything crossed for your beta tomorrow! Hang in there sweetie! (HUGS)

Mrspace- I still say your chart looks good! After I got my BFP, my temps dropped a little too, and then shot back up, so you still have a great chance! :) 13dpo sounds like a great day to test! :)

Mommyin10- No, I don't think it'll keep Bisping's mouth shut, haha!!! :) Can't wait to hear your update today! I'm excited to know how the little ones are doing and what time your transfer will be tomorrow! I'm glad you are being cautious with this, as I knew you were being, but I'm SO praying this gets you your BFP on the first try!! :) Have a great time with your sister and neices tonight! :)

Stacey- How'd your shower go yesterday? Can't wait to hear about all the fun stuff Jake got! :)

Scripps- Good luck today with your retrieval! How exciting!! :)

Had my retrieval today--only 5 mature eggs from 15 follicles, so feeling down.  From what I've read on this site, most success stories happen when many eggs are retrieved.

all you need is one good egg! I know it sounds like the most eggs the better the chances are, but you only need one for a baby!! keep your chin up.

Mommyin10 - Transfer tomorrow! :)  So exciting!  Definitely let us know the update as soon as you hear something.  I laughed when you said..."my funky uterus"!  That is too cute.  But don't worry...since they are doing a later stage transfer and just one, your funky uterus will be just fine because you are pretty much avoiding any chance of twins!!  :)

Rachjas - Ugh!  I am so sorry you are so upset but I totally agree with the others: Your numbers are rising and that is a close double!!  Some are just slow rises at the begining and as long as those numbers keep going up you are just fine!  Fingers crossed for you.

Mrspace - I just gave Jake a nice big rub for you!!  All the best...your symptoms sound very promising indeed!!  Keep those temps up!

Keyan - So glad you had a nice birthday!

Luvkayln - Isn't it wonderful to feel the baby move??  I bet if they looked for the gender on your next u/s they would be able to see!  Jake was 15 weeks when I clearly saw his "manhood".  Can you tell I am getting impatient? :) I just love knowing the sex and can't wait for you to find out!

Scripps - Welcome!  I agree with Keyan, if you have good quality eggs it makes all the difference and you only need one.  You still have a great chance with 5!!

So my shower was really nice. There was about 12 people and it is wonderful how generous people are!!!  I did have a registry and most people bought at least something from the registry and then a sleeper or a onesie.  I am going into my work on Wed because they have planned a shower for me and to say goodbye to everyone.  And on Friday we are having John's staff over for a BBQ and they are planning a little shower within the BBQ.  So, this week is all about gifts. :)  It's amazing how real it seems when you start organizing things and folding those little tiny sleepers.  So cute!!  Honey has been such a good girl.  There is a lot of change and a bit of chaos but she is handling it well.  She is also very supportive of my afternoon naps :)

Take care all and SSBD!!  I am rubbing my belly for all of you Mommyin10, Rachjas, Mrspace and Candie!!!  We definitely have more BFPs on the way.

Stacey :)

rachjas- I am so sorry that your numbers did not go up as much as you would have hoped, but it is not over....stay hopeful and keep the faith:)  Try to relax, take it easy, and stay positive as much as possible because that will help you a lot more than being upset will.  I hope that your numbers get much higher by tomorrow.  I will be thinking of you.

I am on day five of the stim shots and my estrogen today was over 1000 so they are cutting my dose of Gonal in half and I go back in on Wednesday.  I have a lot of lillte follies on both sides so I am happy:)  I just hate the blood tests.

Mommyin10- Wow!  You are having your transfer already!!!  That is great!!!  Good luck!  I hope that you have some perfect blasts to transfer!

Stacey- I know, I'm being very impatient too!!! :) I want to know SO bad! A friend of mine at work just found out she's having a boy today, she's 2 weeks ahead of me! :) So that gets me even more anxious to know! I was originally supposed to find out tomorrow, but my doctor is sending me over to the specialist to tell me what we're having, and he won't see me until I'm at least 18 weeks... :( So that's why I have to wait 2 more weeks, but I can do it... I think! Ha! ;) That's great you got so many things off your registry yesterday! And how awesome that you have 2 more showers coming up! It's definately ALL about baby Jake this week! :) I can't wait to go shopping for the baby! I'm SO ready for that!!!! :) And OH YES, I love feeling the baby move! It's like little flutters right now, but ever since yesterday I've been feeling the baby non-stop! Even all throughout today, it just makes me smile! :)

Rachjas- Still thinking of you sweetie! I can't wait for tomorrow! I know you're nervous to get the results back, but I really think everything WILL go your way!

Scripps- Aww... don't be upset! Like the other ladies said, all you need is 1 egg to make a baby!! You may not have any to freeze, but as long as you get your BFP, that's ok! Hang in there! :)

Mommyin10- You can almost offically enjoy being off for the rest of the week!! (Except friday, but that doesn't count...! lol) Did you call your RE yet and get a time and see how everything is going with your little ones? :) I'm SOOO excited for tomorrow!! All my thoughts are definately with you and Rachjas right now!!! :)

My u/s is in the morning at 10:15, and YES I probably could find out the sex tomorrow, well... I KNOW I can b/c that was my original day to find out, but Sean won't be there with me so I'll refrain from asking if she sees any body parts....  It's gonna be hard, but I would hate to find out and not have Sean there to celebrate it with me! And Lord knows I can't keep a secret, especially something as exciting as that! Haha!!! :) I'll be sure and post new pics tomorrow as soon as I get home!

Luvkalyn:  I have to say you totally confused me with Mamatina's post!  I'm, like, why is luvkayln wanting to be CD1?!  I got it.  Thank you =)  I did call my doc today & the embriologist told me that they'd have an update for me tomorrow as far as how many survived and how well they're doing & they'll pick the winner for the transfer ;)  She said they like to keep them insulated as much as possible, which is fine with me!  I'm excited for tomorrow.  My appt is at 10:30.  I'm supposed to be there 1/2 hour early & so I expect to be home around 12:30 or so.  I'll definitely update once I'm settled :)  Thank you for all your excitement!  It's so totally appreciated =)  I can't wait to hear your update, too!  I'm sure your little one has just grown so much!  That's so funny that you'll have to try not to look you know where! What if the doc says something?  I know you won't keep it a secret if the info slips, but I also know you want Sean to be there!  Just a few weeks to go!!! =)

Stacey:  Haha!  I normally call it an F'd up uterus, so I was being nice ;-)  It's okay, though.I agree with you, it's got to pull through for me one of these days & maybe, like you said, the placement of the blast is what will do the trick!  Oh, I finally watched Baby Mama last week after my retrieval & OMG, I loved it!  My friends kept telling me to see it 'cause of the T-shape & the funny thing is that her name is similar to mine, she's my same age & has the uterus issue!  It was a nice comic relief :)  I'm so glad you had such a great time at your baby shower & Jake got so many nice things!!!  It does look like this is his week.  What a lucky boy!  Enjoy =)

scripps:  I totally agree with the other ladies.  I can understand completely why you'd be upset, but it does only take one & you have 5!  From what I've learned, when you have less than 6, they'll do a 3-day transfer, so they'll get those little ones fertilized & implanted asap & give them time to latch on & grow :)  The only reason I was hoping for more & for a 5-day is because of my uterus issues.  I'll only be implanting one...  I know it's hard, but stay strong & positive!  You have a great chance!  Let us know when you get your update tomorrow, okay?  Take it easy ;)

mamatina:  Congrats on being CD1!  I know you were waiting a long time to get back into the ttc game & I'm happy for you!  Best wishes to you & dh! :)

rachjas:  My thoughts & prayers are with you & your little one!!!  Stay strong & update asap tomorrow!

Candie:  How was your first day on the new job!?  I hope everything went well & you settled quickly ;)

Just wanted to thank everyone for their comments--this site is so helpful emotionally.  I won't have an update today but should hear something tomorrow.  Look forward to hearing how the rest of you are doing.  Mommyin10 I'll be interested to hear if they  give you anything to relax you or your uterus before the transfer and what meds they give you afterwards.

Mommyin10: GOOD LUCK TODAY!!! Keeping my fx for you :-)

Rachjas Good luck on your beta today, I'm still holding out hope for you!!!

Stacey: I LOVED the baby shower for DS! People are so giving and thoughtful :-) I have a ton of hand made blankies too - they are adorable! Sounds like you're going to have a lot more gifts this week!! Oh how I wish I could have another shower for this one lol!!

Luvkayln: Good luck at your u/s this morning!! I don't know how you have so much will power to refrain from asking lol!!!

AFM: TMI, but this weekend was not good - I ended up getting really constipated - mainly due to the Zofran I believe and from that I was having aweful cramps. They felt like diarrhea cramps but worse and then nothing! RE's office said I could take peri-colace so basically in a day and a half I took 4 of those plus lots of fruit and I was finally able to go... Hopefully that does NOT happen again!!! That was aweful!! The Zofran doesn't seem to be helping me much - I still get nauseated and occasional vomiting while taking it which the label says to call my doc if that happens - but I'm just going to try to quit taking it. We'll see though :-) Everything else is good, we are still working on the whole potty training thing which is better, but he still has issues with pooing on the potty..?  Our patio is almost done, then DH will be building a small deck out from our kitchen. THEN hopefully when it gets cooler out he will start working upstairs again to get the rooms up there done so we can move DS up there and the nursery in his current room :-)  Okay, now I'm rambling lol, Oh and I do have a job interview today at 4 and one tomorrow at 11...Hopefully someone will hire a pregnant woman lol!!

Hugs, Love and SSBD to all :-)

Mommyin10 - Definitely thinking of you today!!!!  I'm sure they will transfer the perfect little blast!  They should give you a picture.  I'm so glad that you are taking a few days off.  I put myself on 2 days of bed rest after the transfer and took it real easy for the rest of the cycle or at least until after what I thought would be the implantation time.  And then I just assumed it would be a BFN....surprise!!  Oh I just can't wait for your results!!

Rachjas - Thinking of you today and praying you get a great beta number!  Please let those numbers keep on rising and rising!!!!!  I'm very hopeful for you.

Luvkayln - You are a woman with great strength and self control to not find out the sex today!!  But I completely understand since Sean won't be with you.  I was on my own and was not expecting to find out.  I just asked and the tech she said "let's take a look!" and Jake was in a leg spreader position that made it so easy.  The funny thing?  The first person I told was the taxi driver who drove me home after my appt...I was so excited.  Then I called John and told him even though he was having a meeting in his office at the time :)  Not how I would have pictured it but we both wanted to know so badly that he didn't care.  Very funny.  Enjoy your u/s today and get a lot of pictures if you can.  They are the best right about now!  I'm going for an u/s today too but I have given up on trying to get pictures...his face is too low to see most of the time.

I'll be checking in later ladies!  I have an u/s today but it is just with a tech who normally won't tell me anything.  I meet with my OBGYN Friday where I will get updates on the placenta etc.

Talk soon and SSBD!

Good morning everyone.  I'm 12dpo, and soon to be cd1.  I started spotting this morning and I had another temp drop.  I know that there are a lot of positive things to think about.  I will hopefully get to up my dose of clomid.  That's a big one. I am just angry right now.  I really thought it was looking good.

Last night DH took me out to dinner and I so wanted a drink, but I couldn't because I'm in my tww.  I wish I would have had one now lol.  He was super sweet.  We stopped at the store on our way home to get milk (since I drink it all with my heartburn) and he bought me roses. Just because.  I'm just angry that it didn't happen, again.

Haha :)  I thought that was cute!  We had a great time last night visitng with my sister & nieces!  We met at the Rainforest Cafe & if anyone has one near them, it's a fun place for kids!  We were impressed :)  Well, I'll be thinking of you today, too!  I'm excited for you to see how your little one has grown :)

mommyin10 - Good luck today!!!!  You are too funny.  Between your "blast-off" and your "f'd up uterus" I was laughing my head off!  Thanks for the good wishes, the new job is going well.  Finally have my own office (just a cubicle before), so that's the best part so far.  It's always going to be overwhelming at first, so just need to take it one day at a time.

Keyan - So glad you had such a good weekend and a good birthday!  :)  Hope you are enjoying your relaxation at home now.  I'm so jealous!  LOL  We'll be able to start our new plan next cycle already, although it would be awesome to end up with a BFP now since I'm not expecting it.  My temp was 98.8 today - never ever has it been that high.

luvkayln - Good luck at the ultrasound.  Hope everything goes well, and hope you can make it 2 more weeks!  :)  That is so cool that you are starting to feel the baby move.  I bet that is one of the best feelings in the world.

Stacey - I'm so happy to hear that your shower went good and you got so many nice things!  Sounds like you've got a great week ahead of you too.  Enjoy every minute - it's all about you, John, and Jake today!  :)  Honey is such a sweet girl to let you have your nap time.  She's going to make such a wonderful big sister.

rachjas - I'm sorry things aren't progressing exactly how you had hoped, but like the others said, it could still be very much OK.  Take care, and hang in there.  I'll be anxiously awaiting your results.  We're all praying for you!

mrspace - Ugh, so sorry that AF is starting.  I know how hard it is to be disappointed so much.  DH is very sweet though, it sounds like he is taking great care of you.  ((hugs))

dnikki - Good luck at your interviews!  Hope you are feeling better.

kmcarino - That's great news that you have lots of follies.  I know what you mean about bloodwork, it's easy to get sick of being a human pin-cushion!  Good luck at your appointment tomorrow.

Thanks for your sweet words.  Granted, I'm disappointed today.  But I'm trying to look on the bright side.  I mean....AF started on its own!  That's huge for me.  I talked to the dr this afternoon and he said that means that my lh and fsh hormones are becoming regulated.  I'm so happy about that.  So next month we *should* be upping our clomid dose to 100mg and hopefully that will do the trick.  If not...we just try try again.
