late period and ovulation

Hello, I am pretty new to this so pleasse bear with me.  Every since I delivered a still born son in May (he was 28 1/2 weeks) my cycle has been 32 days.  We have been trying since August with no luck.  i have been using an ovulation calc.  In December my period came 7 days late....I have never been late in my entire life and I am 34.  A pregnancy test and trip to the Dr confirmed I was not pregnant.  My last period came on December 9th.  Does that mean my next period will likely come 32 days after Dec 9th?  Is there anything else I can do to get pregnant faster?  I tried buying an ovulation kit but half the sticks didn't work and the other half said I was not ovulating (Clear Blue Easy).  Also, at what point should my Dr take further steps?  He is the leading fertility specialist in my area but am anxious since I am 34 and we want more than 1 child.

Any guidance you could provide would be greatly appreciated

If your cycle is staying pretty consistant with 32 days. I would give the opks another try. I would start them around cd15. It is unlikely you are o'ing b4 cd17 or 18. But, cd15 is a good place to start. Bbt is another option. It will tell you once o has occurred. Just not b4. It it an excellent tool for noticing the patterns your cycle follows. It does require taking you basal temp every am b4 getting out of bed, immediately upon waking.

IUI is Intrauterine Insemination. It is when the sperm is collected and then cleaned, (the dr has monitored your cycle for when the timing is right for conception) the sperm are inserted through the cervical opening directly into the uterus via a catheter. Dpiui is "days past IUI", it is the pretty much the same as dpo. Hth! (Hope this helps)
