ttc & tylenol

I am ttc and I had the flu while I was ovulating...  I typically ovulate around day 13 or 14...I have shown a positive opk on this day in past months and felt ovulation...this past ovulation period I got negative opk and no cramping pain from ovulation...I was taking tylenol for the fever so could the acetaminophen in the tylenol have affected my ovulation this month?  I read an article that it can but this is with consistant long term use...

I tested CD9 to CD14...i have a pretty regular cycle so these are the days i test...also, I know from my cervical pos. that i should have O'd...???  In the article about tylenol it said that it can lower your estrogen therefore acting like BC...and this is consistent with taking one dose a week over six months??  hope this is month too!  thanks for the response!!

I wouldnt think so, at least like you said, not in the short term. In addition, I really wouldnt worry because regular Tylenol is on the list of things that are okay when you are pregnant. Do you think that maybe you missed your LH peak and that is why you didnt get a positive OPK?  I have had months where I dont get a positive OPK but I know I ovulated because of an Ultrasound.  Hopefully it is your month!
