An ultrasound for abdominal pain showed I produced 3 eggs this month (2 with one ovary, one on the other) without using fertility drugs. My ovaries have been looked at a lot in the past year in the course of 3 failed pregnancies, and they have always looked normal. Does anyone know what causes eggs to produce more than one egg? Is it more common in older women? BTW, I don't think I'm pregnant, but it's a little early to test. I do feel kind of hormonally "off"--very tired, with bad PMS symptoms, and I still have the abdominal pain (and I'm not sure why exactly). Thanks for any thoughts!
