DEPO AND GETTING PREGNANT

OK I JUST WANTED TO KNOW HAS ANYBODY GOT PREGNANT WITHIN MOS. OF BEING OFF DEPO? AND WHAT WAS YOUR SYM. AFTER YOU CAME OFF BEFORE YOU GOT PREGNANT?

I was due for my last depo over a month ago since then I have had pregnancy like symptoms. I know that the depo can cause pregnancy like symptoms but they only started weeks after I came off it.. could it still be a depo side effect?

I chose not to get my next depo shot back in May and start TTC.  My hormones went a little crazy for a month or so after, a little weight gain, and AF took until September to return.  I spotted for a week and bled for another two.  I'm hoping this month things get back to normal.  The doctor told me it was possible to get pregnant before AFs return however it was reccommended to stay protected until after a few "normal" cycles so the uterine lining had time to return to a healthy thickness. A friend of mine was put on hormones after she got of depo to help kick start her body, instead of AF, she was pregnant within a month.  From alot of blogs and posts I've read, results after depo vary from not able to get pregnant to immediate conception.  I think it also depends on how long you were on it.  I was on it for about 3 years. I got prego on depo with my 9 years old son. No issues with him. Just a pain in the butt
