Oh - I'm happy that you had your DD through a fresh cycle! Keep us posted on how this frozen one is going!!
We actually adopted our little boy. He will be 2 in September and is the BRIGHTEST light and joy in our lives! He was literally a miracle. We didn't think we'd be able to get pregnant, and now here I sit, after our frozen IVF transfer, 25 weeks along. ANOTHER miracle! :)
O ya I didn't answer a question :) we did a fresh cycle 2 years ago and it was successful so I'm hoping the frozen works to! So your fresh didn't work, did you have your 18 month old naturally or thru ivf?

Okay - so I have lots of information to share with you. Hope it's not overwhelming, but it might help. When I was going through the same scenerio, a friend sent me this, which put my mind at ease (knowing when to take a hpt):
What Happens After an Embryo Transfer?
Once you complete your embryo transfer, you will have approximately 1½ weeks to wait before a pregnancy can be detected. The following tables outline an approximate timeline for what happens during a successful pregnancy after a 3-day transfer (3dt) and a 5-day transfer (5dt).
3-Day Transfer
One
The embryo continues to grow and develop, turning from a 6-8 cell embryo into a morula
Two
The cells of the morula continue to divide, developing into a blastocyst
Three
The blastocyst begins to hatch out of its shell
Four
The blastocyst continues to hatch out of its shell and begins to attach itself to the uterus
Five
The blastocyst attaches deeper into the uterine lining, beginning implantation
Six
Implantation continues
Seven
Implantation is complete, cells that will eventually become the placenta and fetus have begun to develop
Eight
Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) starts to enter the blood stream
Nine
Fetal development continues and hCG continues to be secreted
Ten
Fetal development continues and hCG continues to be secreted
Eleven
Levels of hCG are now high enough to detect a pregnancy
5-Day Transfer
One
The blastocyst begins to hatch out of its shell

The blastocyst attaches deeper into the uterine lining, beginning implantation

Did you guys do a fresh cycle too? We did a fresh cycle in December and it didn't work. We had two little embryos that made it to freezing stage. So we decided to do a frozen cycle in February. Come to find out, only one survived the thaw process. We went ahead and implanted him and it TOOK!! And now I'm 24 weeks pregnant! It's literally a miracle and I'm here to tell you that "it only takes one!"
My doctors had me on bed rest (or "princess days" as they like to call it!) for four days. I was also advised not to lift anything greater than 10 lbs (which included my 18 month old!) for ten days after transfer.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
Sending lots of love, hugs and baby dust your way! :)
