does novarel really work????????? How many months do I have to wait for it tow ork i just took mine last month and i got my period soo im a little frustuated thought i would get pregnant
yea as a matter of fact, i don't feel so well either.
i can feel my ovaries and i feel kinda sick to my stomach today...
not complaining though... this will all be worth it in the end
The nurse at my RE's said if you leave a little liquid it's okay. So don't worry about that, okay? I developed a light rash at the injection site and they said it's normal. They also said I may develop a bruise. So, if you get either of those just know that it's normal.
Is your dh going to be with you during the IUI? Mine is and I'm really happy about it. He'll probably make me laugh through the whole thing.
I think both our situations seem very promising! I hope we both end up with Big Fat Positives and big fat bellies with beautiful healthy babies in them!
Good Luck tomorrow! I'll be thinking about you!
It dosen't delay ovulation, it causes it to happen, but the hormones have to have time to tell the brain.. OK I'm ready then the brain sends the msg to the overy to release the egg, the process usually takes 36 hours. So if you had neg. OPK last night you will not "O" today if thats what you are worried about. Relax woman :)
Hey guys, i took my trigger shot last night too and i have a question...
It was my first time giving myself a shot, and i accidentally angled it downward which caused a tiny bit of the liquid to not come out. Is that okay? Do you think it will still work?
What are the chances of releasing the egg today rather than tomorrow...?
I took the OPK last night right before the trigger and it was negative for my surge. Does the trigger shot actually delay ovulation for approximately 36 hours?
I'm a little worried (especially since i messed up on the shot a little) that my ovulation will happen today and tomorrow's IUI will be too late?
Sorry to be so whiny, I just need some reassurance if anybody can help.
Sue, let me know how everything goes for you, cycle buddy! It's sounding very promising so far!
I just knew it wouldn't hurt! Good for you!
I agree with Tanker Chick...Novarel really does make the injection site pretty darn sore for a few days (I ask for ovidrel now, because it doesn't cause any tenderness...plus it's premixed and ready to go). But hey, it will all be worth it in a couple of weeks when you get your BFP :-)
Mine always feels tender for a couple of days so don't be surprised if yours does.
You've been a patient woman (all things considered) so I really hope this is it for you. We know your body can do it, so here is its chance!! You'll be in my thoughts.
Hopefully we can ride this 2ww out together and end up with matching BFPs!!
No, it didn't hurt at all, I swear! I didn't feel anything, really! I wasn't even sure my dh put the needle in.
That's good, but OUCH!! Just imaginging a needle in my tummy makes me cringe :-)
Good luck!
Hi Jen-Jen! I miss you a ton! Thanks for all the crossies.
Love & Hugs,
Sue
Oh god! I hope this is it for you!!! I am just checking in to say hi and see how you were doing. I am crossing everything for you girl!! HUGS!!!!
Thanks! I only have to do one unless the IUI doesn't work then I'll do it again next month. I'm so glad it was so easy.
Yay! Let the games begin ;-)
Good for you ! :) It's just the anticipation that makes it scary, huh? How many injections will you need to do? I'm glad you got the first one under your belt :)
