Ok ladies :). Cameron's first tooth started poking through yesterday!!! No fever, no tears, notta....just a sharp lil ole tooth poking through the gums. She slept through the night as normal, and has not turned down any bottles. I really believe in these necklaces!!! The only thing she did do was chew on things a lot, and tug at her ear....that was it!!
Shannon, I don't know abouT you, but I wear a necklace just about all the time. I k ow its not the same, but, these are not big and bulky. If you look at butterflybabiesI pics, you can see the necklace in the boys pics. I really believe they are pretty safe. I wouldnt recommend them if I didn't. I never take the twins off. They wear them 24/7.
Okay that's a big relief. You would think having something around their neck would choke them.
Think I'm going to have to invest in one for Preston
Mhv~ My boys still wake for a night bottle so when they wake in the morning they are usually not hungry right away. But sometimes they are. And my boys still want a nap about every 2-3hrs. This is our schedule
If they are not hungry for a bottle right away in the morning:
I feed them fruit then they will want a bottle either right after the fruit or within an hour of eating the fruit. Then they play for a little then nap. Then wake have a bottle then play then nap again. Then they are up and I give them a veggie around 5pm then they usually want a bottle right after that. Then play then a quick nap then another bottle before bed.
If they want a bottle when they wake up right away. I give them the bottle then about an hour 1/2 after that I give them the fruit.
try giving them the food about an hour or hour 1/2 after their bottles.
Shannon~ I was worried about the choking to. but the necklaces are long enough it wont choke them and if their is to much tension on the necklace it will break off (a safety feature) and like Mhv said each bead is individually tied off so the beads wont all break off and the beads are small so if they swallowed the bead they wouldnt choke on it. The first 2 days my boys had them on I was always finding myself adjusting the necklaces cause the necklaces go towards their backs when they are playing on the floor and then get stuck in their neck fat lol. But its not choking them or anything.
Nope, the babies never bother me, and they are long enough that they don't choke them. Each bead is individually tied off too, so it is not really "strong" of that makes sense?? And the beads won't scatter if it breaks.
I mentioned to my DF about the amber necklaces, and he was thinking the same thing I was. So you should be able to answer my question.
Do the necklaces choke them?
I meant cereal w/ fruit...not veggies...lol
