Estrogen for thin lining.

I had an u/s the other day and discovered my lining was to thin....The first negative u/s i ever had. The doctor contributed it to the 6 months I have been on Clomid....it is thinning the lining.  Anyway, I went back for a second u/s and it has thickened a bit...however he gave me estrogen, Enjuvia, at .625 mg. He told me to take it until I get my surge. Which will probably be about 3 days. Is estrogen safe and has anybody ever had to do this?

I don't think it's bad.  I'm on my 3rd ivf and they bring the lining down to thicken it up so the egg will have a soft stick lining to stick to.  Don't drink any alcohol while taking it. I was also told by my doctor only 6 months on clomid, anymore is not safe.  Elizabeth

I had to take estrogen too to counteract the thining the clomid was doing. I usually took two pills twice daily on day 7-11 I think. I was worried about taking it to since it says you shouldn't take if you are trying to get pregnant?
