My levels estrogen and progesterone were never checked!!!! Not even after 14 days and the pee-on-the-stick test. I'm on my 4th trial and around day 2-3 after transfer I usually KNOW it didn't take b/c everything relaxes (the tonus of my vagina, the boobs, everything). The one time I got pregnant (and misscarried in 6 weeks) I KNEW I was pregnant 3 days after transfer, and I knew I missacrried way before the Ultrasound that confirmed the death of my 2 embrios (chemical pregnancy doctors called it)
I'm sitting here, day 7 after transfer (day 3 transfer) and I KNOW I'm not pregnant. I knew a week ago.
I'm ready to change clinics, really...
And I'm so depressed I should be crying. And then agin I KNOW I'm not pregnant b/c I can't even cry, I'm just sitting here numb, thinking what on earth to do next time. i'm 41 too... Started this when I was 38...
I wish there was a scientific journal with all these IVF findings and techniques, not just our "one here one there" experiences, scattered over 100 websites... You'd think in the 21st century after 15 years of clinics doing this they'd have a standard procedure at least for FOLLOW UP on hormone levels ! I know everyone is different, but ALL of us need thorough follow up...Otherwise how on earth do these doctors expect to know what to do NEXT time?
Thanks for listening...

Thank you for your reply - I am on my second round of IVF and mine was not checked until my beta each time.
My estrogen was checked 4dp5dt each time and the level was low so at that point, they had me taking estradiol pills.
