FET Advice

Hi, I am posting on behalf of my wife. We had our FET last week monday and today being day 7, my wife found that she had light bleeding when she wiped herself today. She is devastated as this is our third IVF attempt, and she is on day 27 and normally starts her period around 28. Does this mean its over?

Sorry if its a bit vague, just dont no what to do.. Any advice would be appreciated.

So far so good, we have our appointment tmrw. My wife did a pregnancy test an hour or so ago and this showed up with a faint positive line : ). She did have light bleeding whilst wiping herself. Just praying its all well.. Today is day 10, so dont know what to make of it...

If she's using suppositories then it could be that. Lets hope for the best this time. 3rd times the charm right? Please let us know what happens. I hope someone will come along and offer more advice.

Thanks for your response. She did do a pregnancy test but that was on day 3 but came back negative. After that no test. We are due for an appt at the clinic on thurs for a blood test, but kind of panicking now. I no she is using the suppositories so praying its not her period as she is due tomorrow. So far there hasn't been anymore bleeding..

Has your wife had a positive pregnancy test yet?
It's pretty common to have a little bleeding in the first trimester of pregnancy. She should stay off her feet until it stops and drink plenty of water. If she's using progesterone suppositories that may be irritating her cervix causing small amounts of bleeding. Has she had her estrogen and progesterone levels tested? I would give a call to your clinic and let the nuse know what's happening so that your wife can get some piece of mind. I know going thru these cycles is really hard on the emotions.
