Anyone have longer cycles on Clomid

I am now on CD 32 and I tested last night and get a BFN. My cycle is usually 28-30 days, has anyone had longer cycles after being on Clomid. I am so confused! I have been cramping the last few days but still no AF so I am starting to worry.

Clomid caused me to not ovulate until cd17-19. Hense my period would be later.  Maybe the doctor can presribe you provera to get your period kick started.

You usually do w/in 24 hours I think. I never had a trigger. Sounds to me like a very wacky cycle. Has your doctor said if he will prescribe you provera?

I have not talked to him about this cycle yet. I had a normal cycle last month on the Clomid but I did not have a trigger that month, so maybe its the trigger thats messin me up.

Hey there-  the clomid can extend your luteal phase.  If you knew how long your luteal phase normally is then you could compare.  For instance..if it's normally 12 for you without clomid..it could be 14-16 days with clomid.  Just a thought!

What cycle day did you ovulate on again?

Yes, my cycle went for 35 days last time.  I ovulated around day 20-21.  I was concerned too as my cycles are usually 25 days.  It was about 10 days longer and I ovulated much later.  So don't worry, just keep tracking your temps so you will know when you O or if you are tracking with the kits?
Good Luck :)

My first cycle of Clomid extended my cycle from 34 days to 40.  I only had one cycle on Clomid then I went to Folistim and have still have the 40-42 day cycles.  It can be really stressful to try and track, especially at the end of a 2WW... I feel your pain!!!   O'ing is easier to figure out if your using a trigger.  They say you should O within 24-48 hours after, thats why most RE's aim for 36 hours for an IUI.  Everyone's body is different though.

Try to keep your thoughts positive, and know that you are never alone.  All of us on this forum know how you are feeling.  We are here for you! :)
