I am very sorry for all of your losses. I too had a m/c last year. I have spent a lot of time over in the m/c community and a lot of what I have read from women, is that a m/c can cause your body to do some screwy things. It may just take a little while for it to get back on track.
Hi Hilly,
I also always ovulated around day 17 and I had a miscarriage in December. During my first cycle afterwards I ovulated on day 17, during the second cycle I stopped testing around day 18, but had a 40 day cycle, this cycle I had a positive test on day 21.
I am really worried about this as well.
I hope you had better results in the meantime?

Thank you so much for your comment...makes me feel better knowing that someone else has experienced the same thing.
I will get the sticks too-agree totally...the monitor worked like a charm when everything in my body was working-the miscarriage has wreaked havoc-
I wish you lots of luck. Are you actively trying again? We are and I am very nervous..aAgain, thank you!

Hi hilly.. I too nomally have a very exact cycle, with ovulation on days 13 or 14. and I had a m/c last months (6 weeks) and my monitor NEVER showed a high or a peak this month. I went in to see my RE this Tuesday and had my progesterone checked and it was over 20, which ,means I did ovulate, but I still have no idea what day.
I also used ovulation predictor strips and I did get a few positives on those (cycle days 22-24), and I think they were right and NOT my monitor (worthless $150 gadget). Normally my monitor is exactly right, but I guess b/c my hormones are all messed up, it didn't pick up ovulation.
So... you may have already O'd. Or.. if you think you haven't, I would suggest getting some pee sticks, OPK. :)
Im sorry about your loss.
