FSH Test

I have just been reading that it is normal to have your FSH checked on day 3 of your cycle, I had mine tested on day 7, would this result in a higher reading, my Dr never said I needed to get my blood test done on a particular day, other than for my progesterone!

Thanks everyone, perhaps my Dr just didn't tell me about having to check on day 3, or maybe she didn't know! she's just a plain MD, not a fertility specialist, guess I'll have to go down that path soon enough!

For the clomid challenge test my RE did did my FSH bw on cd 3 & then rechecked on cd 10.  After that he always does it on cd 3 to make sure it isn't going up.

My OBGYN checked my FSH on a random day (I don't get periods due to PCOS), and the results were still accurate. My RE, however, insisted on day #3 testing, so they induced my period to do that.

My regular Ob-gyn checked my FSH on day 7, but when I switched to my RE, they checked on day 3.

Good morning!  I have only had FSH checked on day 3, and my Dr has always been very specific about it.  I think I would give my doctor a call to double check.  He/she pobably just forgot to mention that part to you!
