Normal levels of FSH on cd3 are 10 or less. The level of FSH increases the older we get. It is also the number used to determine when we are entering menopause.
10 is a little high for your age. But, if you did Clomid that cycle, it can increase the #. Also, FSH varies from month to month. You are on the high side of normal. I wouldn't stress about it. There are many women that have had much higher #'s conceive. They use the # to determine ovarian reserve. The higher the #, the less time you have.
Hi toptaz!
A 10 is a little high, but not too bad. In general, FSH can give you an indication of your ovarian reserve. From what I've read, anything under 6 is excellent, 6-9 is good, 9-10 is fair, 11-13 is diminished and 13+ is hard to stimulate.
Good luck to you! I hope you get your BFP soon!
