HTP Question

Hi Everyone,
So I have a question for those of you who use those internet cheapy hpt's (the dip stick ones)

Anywho, I only used those once before months back and cant really remember if this happend back then.
So I took a test today, Im 9dpo (I know early) but Im a POAS addict lol..
My DH and I thought there mightve been something there but werent to sure, so I left the test out about an hour later I was in the bathroom and it was on the counter and looked at it and its completely dry now, but you can see that "something there" line , it looks pinkish, I know your not supposed to read tests after the 5 min window..

So I guess my question is to those of you who have used these tests, do they always show that second line when its dry?? like an hour or 2 later?? I cant really remember the last time I used them, I think it did and I was testing early then to and I did end up being preggo..

I just really want to know if those tests always show that 2nd line after its been dried and sitting for a while..

That is what i bought and the line for the first few days didn't show till it was dry. I thought it was an evap line or a figment of my imagination but as the days went by it got darker. I asked gigigigi about them because she is the one that told me about the ones on ebay and she said hers didn't get really dark till 20dpo. Mine are just starting to darken up now!!

They show up as quick as the frer but don't darken up as quick!

I use the same type of hpts from the drugstore and when it tested negative it stayed that way even hours later.  Best wishes!  Keep us updated

When I was ttc I never got even an evap line!  I do know that some tests may show the evap line after 5-10 minutes.

Durban81~ yea after suffereing 4 losses this last year and a half , I dont ever get excited or get my hopes up anymore...just the way it is..im kinda numb inside..

I did a test this month 10days past and got a second line did another test two days later and three days later and realised it was a evap line. Rather do another test before getting your hopes up:) good luck i hope it is a true positive:)

I have used the internet cheapies and did not get a line after it dried. I thought they say you might get a false negative if you read it after 5 min b/c the line can disappear, but a positive can stay positive or get darker the longer it sits? I could have that wrong, though.

take another test tomm am as soon as you wake up in morning...sometimes the pink line will get darker the more preggo you get..heard of that happeing a LOT!!

I did not use tests from the internet but did use the dollar tree ones and that happened to me the month I found out I was pregnant. I really thought it was an evap line so I didn't test again until 16dpo (just for sh$ts and giggles) and got my BFP! I had these pink lines only show up after a few hours after I tested!! Praying this is your month!!

Depends!!   I would just retest and read results in the 5-10 min after doing it
