I am a little worried i am 12 days past et and started bleeding 2 days ago,it started light red now a bit darker red just like my period but without clots.I was tested on day 11 yesterday and got a beta of 30. am i losing the little one already or can people still bleed and stay pregnant ?
Unfortunately, my IVF nurse used the dreaded two words today.....pregnancy loss. It isn't confirmed but my bleeding increased today to the point where I filled a pad! I'm to call them tomorrow and tell them whether there has been any change. If it stays heavy I'm to go in for a second Beta on Monday rather than waiting until Thursday. I'm not a terribly religious person yet I find myself praying today. Staying laying down most of the time right now as that seems to slow or even stop the bleeding somewhat. Then I only bleed when I go to the washroom.
Anyone have any words of wisdom or been through this before and had everything turn out okay? I really don't want to lose this baby. We've waited so long for him or her and we don't have any frozen embryos to transfer if I do MC =(
Thanks!
Yes this was my first Beta test. I'm not sure why they wanted me to wait a full week. When I left the IVF clinic on transfer date they gave me two lab req's one for the 27th and one for the 3rd. They would like to see my numbers in the thousands by next week. The bleeding is definitely not implantation bleeding as I am already pregnant and that would have occurred last week.

I agree - the beta number is very, very good so congratulations! Not sure what the bleeding means but there've been women on this forum who have had mild bleeding after IVF and have been fine. I would ask your doctor about coming in sooner to do a beta - preferably Monday to get an idea of what the numbers are doing. Best of luck!
Lots of women have some spotting/light bleeding around the time of implantation, so unless it is accompanied by cramping, it's not necessarily a bad sign. As for your beta, 140 is a great number! How many days past transfer are you? And was this your first blood test? If so, I'm surprised the make you wait a whole week before testing again. Usually they do two tests (or sometimes three) two days apart to see if the number doubles.
