Help - Should Prontogest be kept in the fridge??

Hi guys, quick Q.  I'm back at the hospital to discuss our next round of IVF and this time my acupunturist has suggested I ask for the progesterone to some in the liquid injection form, rather than the pessaries as my AF always comes on before I even stop the pessaries, so she is worried my levels are dropping far too quickly.

I'm happy to try the injections, however it may be a little awkward to manage if they need to be stored in the fridge - especially if a miracle happens and we do conceive as I need to stay on them until the 12th week.  We have holidays and plans, which of course if we were pregnant I would be happy to cancel, but it would still be a little awkward to be in the house the same time every day.

Any advice much appreciated????  Thank you :-)

NO the progesterone does not have to be refrigerated. When you do them ice the area first for about 5-7 mins, it really helps and then rub area.

Thank you :-)  That helps loads, as much as I want this more than anything in the world, it would be quite restrictive having to ensure we are in the house every day at the same time for the jabs.  Noted the ice thanks, Ive been ok so far with all the other injections with regards to IUI and IVF and they haven't really hurt much at all, but I have heard the Prontogest ones are a little more uncomfortable! Eek lol.

PIO (progesterone in oil) shots are intramuscular so the needle is quite a bit longer (1-1/2 inches).  I learned to give them to myself .. it's not fun but sometimes they do hurt.
