How do you raise estrogen naturally?

Me and my DH just had a beautiful baby boy in January and we would love to have another. It took a while to conceive our first, so we will be TTC soon. From all the bloodwork I got last year I know my estrogen levels were/are on the lower side. How can I raise estrogen levels naturally?

Thanks! Shannon

Do you mean your day 3 estrodial levels? If so, what is low? My day 3 estrodial levels went from 62 in Dec to 20 in May. My RE doesn't seem concerned AT ALL--he said low is good (the tests were done at different REs but I made sure this one knew about the drop).  I can't help but worry though b/c it's a huge drop...
can anyone help, please?
Thanks

instead of raising the estrojen,u can also look into balancing all ur hormones including estrojen...how about taking vitex to regulate everything ..also drink red raspberry tea and red clover blossom teas for balancing everything...

cucumber and watermelon also have hormona balancing features..I'm reading a book called "Making Babies"..it talks about making babies in three months via naturall remedies..u may borrow it from ur library..it has lots of good stuff.....i strongly recommend reading it if u are not ready to see RE...

good luck

That is crazy they'd make you wait seeing you are 37 and already went to the RE!  I think you could explain you'd like to try naturally first but maybe need estrogen patches to help out??  You could also talk to your OB/GYN if the RE isn't helpful.  I think if you are ready mentally to try again the RE will be OK with it.  I have read that yams help estrogen levels but not sure if it is true or not.

TY for answering. I'm definitely not against going to a doc. My RE told me to wait until I try for a 6 months of TTC (after the birth of my son) before going back. I would like to get a good start on my own and maybe not have to go back to the RE.

I have to use shots to raise my estrogen enough to get a few eggs so I am not sure about how to do it naturally. If you aren't opposed to it, you can see a doc and possibly get some help. Good luck!
