Need advice by tomorrow morning! What would you do?

My dr called today and said my follicles look great and my estrogen is good-but since my estrogen fell mid-way thru the cycle (due to the ganirelix), there is a 20% chance the embryos won't fertilize or will be of poor quality. My first ivf my estrogen was low in the beginning (and the embryos were of poor quality) so the dr said it's up to me what I want to do. He didn't cancel because he said it can go either way-- but given my two failed ivf s I'm not hopeful.
What would you do? My husband is inclined to go ahead but I don't want to spend another $8000 if it's not going to work. Of course, there is no way to know if it will work...

this whole process S*CKS! There is just no other word for it. To go through this process and now be told your chances are decreased is just not fair. I probably would move forward with it since you got this far and honestly, even in an absolute PERFECT cycle, it might not work.  My fresh IVF cycle, I had 2 perfect looking high graded embryos put in. One took and i had a m/c. After testing was done on the baby, it was found out it was chromosomally imperfect. I am still baffled at how they could grade this one an AB if it was ultimately imperfect. My doc told me the grading system is obviously flawed and they are finding this out every day. So, the point is you just never know. And of course if you ask your dr what his recommendation is, they'll never tell you.

Good luck and we are all praying that this works for you!

Seven follicles. I'm worried about the money. My husband said we could try again if this fails but if I only have two tries left I don't want to waste it on one that has a decreased chance.  But I also don't want to waste this month...

well.... see it this way... there is an 80% chances that it will work. Your estrogen is good now and the follicles look great plus you have your husband support... I will go for it. But you know that we are forever optimist in this forum right? It's out of love!!!

Good luck

How many follicles do you have? The other issue is your age (I just checked it out). After 40 is difficult so this is a difficult decision. Sorry I'm not helping
