How old is her pregnancy,,,

My wife is now pregnant thru IVF,,, Her last Menstrual cycle started on May, 10... The embryos transfer was on May, 28 on thire day,,, What is her pregnancy age as of today June, 15???

Please advise,,,

Have you done the Beta HCG test??? when?  what was the level?

I am right behind you guys!  My retrieval was 5/28 and transfer 5/31 so I will be five weeks on Thursday.  My little babies were created 2 weeks and 4 days ago.  It is the coolest thing EVER!!!!!!!!  Congrats to you and your wife!

Technically you're right. The age of the fetus is only 3 weeks, but in gestational age, which is what most doctor's use, she's 5 weeks. Basically, gestational age includes the two weeks in the beginning of the cycle, starting with the first day of her last menstrual period. Since your wife did IVF, however, they just add 2 weeks to the time from retrieval to get gestational age. Hope that makes sense.
