How soon can you get pregnant after removal of mirena coil?

Hi, I had my Mirena coil taken out on 30th sep, 12 days ago and i was wondering how long after would it be that i could possibly become pregnant?? My period was  ment to start on the 7th oct but it hasnt, is this due to the removel of the coil or is there a chance i could be pregnant??

I removed my own Mirena after having it in for 18 months on the 7th of May. As soon as I removed it, there was light spotting, and a small amount of discomfort. I never had a normal cycle while using Mirena. I started my period on the 9th. (Very heavy, with clots) I have been working on making a baby since, but not watching my ovulation, or taking temperatures or anything. I have plans to take a home pregnancy test on the 31st. (which would be the week before my missed period) I have been feeling like I could be pregnant, but a lot of symptoms of pregnancy, are the same as PMS. We'll see shortly! Good luck, ladies!

My dr told me not to do that everyday try and do it every other day atleast. So his sperm count will be up. I got pregnant within 2 months after hearing that. Good luck.
