IUI or Intercourse

Hello Everyone,
I need am looking for an expert advise because I am kinda confuse on which is better IUI or Intercourse. The reason why I am confused is because I have done my 2 cycles with Puregon Injections and both time i had made too many follicles and then doctor suggested Aspiration and IUI. I spent a whole lot on this procedure still didn't see any luck. So, now today I went for my Ultrasound and Blood work for Day 3 of my cycle and he put me on Puregon with a lower dose so that I don't make to many folicles this time. So, Doctor wanted to know if I want to go for IUI or I wanted to do Natural Intercourse.

But today when I discussed my Ultrasound result with my doctor, he told me that I have 8 small folicles on each side. But I am not going for aspiration at all but willing to take risk for multiple pregnancy. Can anyone suggest me that should i go for IUI or Intercourse this cycle because IUI didn't work for me 2 times. Please help me on this.

DH's SA count should be at least 10million for IUI and 20million for intercourse. On average men have 50million.

First of I would like to explain what Aspiration is as per my knowledge. Aspiration is a process in which the doctor takes out all extra mature eggs and just leaves 3 inside. This process is done in order to avoid the risk of multiple pregnancy. It is done just before the IUI process. i hope this make sense.

I am just curious to know what should be my DH's average count? Can someone let me know on this?

I would definitely go with IUI because you have a better chance of getting pregnant with IUI and you can have intercourse before ovulation and up to 24 hours after to increase your chances as well.  Good luck!  I am doing my third IUI cycle in a row and really hoping I get pregnant this time.

First question, what is aspiration?  
It seems like you have a good response to the Puregon with so many follicles.  How is your partner (dh) count?  If his count, motility and morphology are all ok, then i'd say go for the Intercourse as IUI did not work last time.  I think changing it up and seeing if BFP will occur is ok for this time.  Then you can go from there depending on the outcome.  Also, talk to the Dr about it as well.

I am able to ovulate on my own, but have not been able to conceive with intercourse.  My infertility is unexplained but I have been able to get pregnant quite easily with IUI.  So I think it just depends. If your problem is that you don't ovulate on your own, but don't have a problem getting pg when you do ovulate, than intercourse should be fine.  If you are not able to get pg easily, I would go with IUI.
