I developed OHSS in my first IVF;however, my syntoms disapeared two days after my embryo transfer, so that means I am not pregnat.  I have been researcing about OHSS and what I have found out is that OHSS gets worst when you get pregnat.  In my case, my symtoms disapeared two days afert, my transfer.  I am so disapointed and starting to be negative that after all the pain that I went trought my cycle won't work.  My RE transfer 2 beutiful embryos, my RE even said that my embryos were the most beautiful on the transfer day.  I was so happy when he said that beacuse my dream of becoming a mom were comming true after 11 years of trying.  My first Beta test is going to be this saturday 9/28 and the second on 9/30.  I hope anyone can have answer for me. Thank you Jenny, for your coment.  I'll try  to be patient. Let me tell you that i was thinking tha my doctor was going to freze my embryos  for later transfer but that did not happen.  The day of my transfer i was felling horrrible, all swallen from my abdomen to my pelvic part.  My symtoms appeared the next day after my egg retriv so I call my nurse to let her know my symtoms and she told me that the symtoms were normal due to the fact that I had my E2 so high and she said they were going to get worst when I get pregnant.  After my transfer I went home with my husban i was so stress out because i knew i was putting  a lot of presure in my womb so since then i have been wondering if that had affect my embryos.  Thank you so much for your answer.  I really hepls.

I just finished my first cycle and i also developed OHSS. Because of that my Re didn't transfer the embryos with a fresh cycle but instead we froze them and we did a frozen cycle. OHss does get worse when you get pregnant cause of the hormone level and sometimes when you develope this the doctors don't do the transfer. There are other women on this site that froze their eggs or embryos cause of OHSS. Sometimes you can lose the embryos cause of that. But don't lose hope. Wait until your first beta. Not the same is for everyone.Sometimes you lose your symptoms cause your body get used to hormonal level. Be patient and positive. Good luck
