I gave in and took a HPT....BFN....is there still hope?

I am on my first round of femara 2.5mg.  My RE says my husbands swimmers are fine, so we just did timed sex after the ovidrel shot.  I gave the ovidrel shot on 10/20 and had timed sex on 10/21 and 10/22.  I have extremely sore breasts and have been feeling light headed and tired...which I guess it could be in my head.  I gave in and took a HPT and it was negative today 11/3.  Should I give up hope on this cycle?

I took a first response test (the one with one or two lines).  The last time I was pregnant (one year ago the ended up in a m/c), I took a test on Wednesday afternoon and it was negative, then again on Thursday right away in the morning it the line was faint.  It turned out positive and I was due for AF on Friday that week.  SOrry just searching for hope I guess.  We have been ttc since Sep '08.  I am 27 and my husband is 31.  BFP naturally on Oct '08.  Missed miscarriage at the end of November at 8.5 weeks and a d/c on Dec 1, 2008.  An HSG on Jan 09 (all clear).  Husband was checked and he is okay.  Multitude of hormone tests done on me and all negative.  I have always had my period between 26-29 days for as long as I remember.  I tried two rounds of clomid in May and Jun of '09 with an ovidrel trigger with no luck.  Tried naturally until this month (clomid made my crazy) when we did the femara 2.5 mg 5-9 and thhe ovidrel trigger.  Next month if this doesn't work (crossing my fingers) we are gonna try the femara with IUI.
Any advice or tips?

Yea its too soon.  You have to wait a couple  more days for the test to be accurate.  Also, it depends on the type of test that you used.
