I had an IUI on the 12th and I am still sore in there. Is anyone having the same problems.

I just had an IUI done on the 12th and my huband only had 3million sperm after the washing.  I was told by the nurse that is the lowest count they will even do the procedure with.  The insemination was very painful and I cramped the whole day.  However my cervix is tilted and the nurse had problems getting the catheter in.  My husband and I had sex 24hrs after like we were told and again last night.  I am still hurting (cramping and pain inside when I sit, pee, etc.) from the procedure and the sex hurt so bad that I cried. (sorry TMI)  I don't know if I should be worried since it is now 4 days after the procedure.  I had 5 follicles so I don't know if it's from the follistim/femerra I was taking or if there is something else going on in there.

Yes, I never counted the days but it's 13. They'll know from the blood test if I"m pregnant or not. I started progesterone suppositories today to up my level. My husband had 5ml sperm with low motility but I still have hope!

Keep in touch and best to you!

Hi- I had my IUI on December 8th. I had mild cramping after the procedure and then felt kinda bloated for a few days. I'd give your doctor office a call and ask if it's normal. It could just be from forcing the catheter. I wish you the best! Always ask if you don't know- they can't expect us to know everything about what is typical and remember everyone is different!
My husband had 5ml sperm and a very low motility. I test next Monday.
