FRER Digital???? (update)

Okay, so yesterday I was 12dpiui.  Yesterday I took a standard FRER and got a very very faint BFP.  It was MUCH darker the day before, so I know there was still hcg in my system from the hcg booster shot.  The last booster shot was at 7dpiui (2000 units).  So anyway, after that I was convinced that I am not PG.  I have no symptoms at all and feel like I know my body and it is telling me I'm not PG.  So last night when I went home, I decided to take another FRER.  I figured if it was that light in yesterday morning, that evening it should be negative.  But it wasn't... and it was darker.  I wouldn't even called it a faint positive.  It was positive.  So then I started to think, well maybe I am PG.

So this morning I woke up at 4:00 am (couldn't go back to sleep) and took a FRER digital test.  At this point I was really expecting it to be positive.  When it came back BFN, I look at it for a could five seconds with a blank stare and then broke it open to look inside.  When I looked inside, there was clearly a second line.  Equally as dark as the one from the day before and it was there within the 3 minute dwell time.  

Anybody have experience with FRER digital?  Anybody have any insite on this?  Any opinions?

Hi Hannah - Don't give up hope yet!!  I think the neg is just the HCG out of your system.  That is exactly what happened to me with Izzy.  I was so bummed - and then a few days later the slightest positive (and that wasn't until past 17dpo!).  I know it's tough but  until AF shows the possibility is still there!  
But I know what you mean about having a lot to be thankful for!  This has been the best (and fastest) year of my life!!!!!!!!!!!!  Have a wonderful Christmas and give your honeybun a big squeeze for me!  I hope he gets all the toys he was hoping for - he has been such a good boy how can Santa resist spoiling him!!  :)

OH, and BTW, I didn't get sore bb's until about 10 weeks w/#2 No symptoms at all!!

Hannah, I don't think you're out at all. I would think it would be out of your system by now. I don't know, I'm leaning towards the yes side of things. I swear, I would be out buyin up the stores, hee, heee....fingers crossed!!

There is no third line. I was just curious if it was positive would there be a third line.  

AF should be here today or tomorrow.  Hopefully the HCG won't delay AF any longer than 14dpiui.  

Part of me wants to run out and buy more regular FRER.  I should have never waisted the money on those digital.  I have one more digital left.  One more vice to torture myself with :)

Have a merry christmas you guys.  I know either way, I will.  I have so much to be thankful for.

I don't know anything about a 3rd line?!?!  Here is a link to the reason for the 2nd line. I was surprised when I found out the 2nd line was Lh, not Hcg. Strange, I still don't understand the reasoning for it.  I don't think I've ever seen a 3rd line. Can you post a pic?

hannah i actually called them once to ask,(the stick company lol),  and they told me the second line didnt mean anything, now after saying that you know they all measure at different levels so maybe the bfp from the night before was more sensitive!!!  you know my second pg symptoms were less then most non pg months go figure!!! its not out yet dear

I wish I could tell you good news, Hannah. Unfortunately, digis work different than regular hpts. The second line doesn't mean anything. Every one of them has it, bfp or bfn :(

BUT, I got a bfp on the regular one b4 the digi FRER last time (chemical).  The frer digis are $$$$$. The jury is still out as to whether they are worth the extra. So far, I don't think so. The Walgreens digi worked just as soon and the standard frer was still the quickest.

I still wouldn't rule out that Christmas bfp just yet.
